The hotel was beautiful. The decor was very modern and updated. The room was amazing. It was much nicer than we expected, considering other reviews we saw.
Not all of the staff seemed overly friendly. I understand having a bad day or not liking your job...but guests should not pick up on that type of attitude. That is just my personal opinion. No one was overly rude though.I don't think other reviews did this hotel justice. I feel like I got an amazing deal for the price I paid. The rooms were beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and there was a nice sized pool. I was a little disappointed that there was no hot tub...but that was a minor detail. I would definitely stay again.
The room was very cozy! We had a king bed with a sleeper sofa. Clean, and the employee who checked us in put us in a room not near the wedding party group / noise.
It was incredibly busy when we arrived, a wedding reception gathering of some kind in the bar / lobby area which was congested and we could barely differentiate where the desk was to check in from the bar. It's very deceiving from the pictures shown on the website, I was sure we were at the wrong place. The pictures were all taken at night and it looks much different during the day. It looks a little shabby on the outside, not what you'd expect from a Hyatt. Once we got past the crowd in the lobby and to our room, we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was contemporary and modern, as well as clean! It was easy to get to, and conveniently located close to the interstate but without the noise. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. It's nice to find a nice hotel in a good area ...
The overall feel was cozy. I enjoyed the décor, the contemporary feel was great!
The A.M breakfast staff person was rude. She didn't smile at all; to any of the guests. She would slam down the utensils and holler at people including grown adults for not placing them back on the 'plates.' She needed to put a smile on!Over all nice Hotel.
Good room size and layout.
THE BEDS WERE HORRIBLE! The king size bed was awful, and the pull out sofa was the worst I've ever slept on. In addition, the air conditioner was extremely loud when it turned on and off, so I was awakened countless times during the night! It would have been an excellent hotel experience if the beds were decent and if the air conditioner weren't so noisy. Also, the window curtains/shades were too short for the windows, so a lot of light came in, also adding to my sleepless night! There were really nice things about this hotel, including the room layout and cleanliness, the bathroom, closet space, and the common area and breakfast. But the bad things were overwhelming. Oh, and another thing, we left my daughter's pillow in the room, and I called back within an hour or two of checkout and it hadn't been reported. They said they'd check with housekeeping the next day, but I never got a call back. How can a pillow disappear i...
Clean, modern, friendly, great breakfast!!!!!
Not the closest to where we wanted to go.
Not all supplies available at breakfast time.We enjoyed this hotel
The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.
The staff was kind of rude and I didn't like the lobby set up. The staff told me they would have a shuttle to a park and ride for summer fest but when we got there they said they didn't.
Being able to spend time with my Husband in a quiet place. Breakfast was good.
During check in I was told that I should receive possible damage fees within 24 hrs, nothing then I was told after 72 hrs after 72 hrs nothing then I was told that I was given false info..7-10 days very dissapointingDon't expect a hotel feel right away upon entry. Make sure that you ask questions regarding payment held for possible damages, how long will it take to receive your deposit based on pay method debit/credit.
When I came in I was completely shocked at how beautiful the room was for how little we paid. They offered 24 hour room service and had the best kitchen I have seen at a hotel. On our next trip to Milwaukee we plan to stay here again.
One of the staff ignored us at late night the first night we got there. Standing at the front desk not being acknowledged for about 3 minutes was very uncomfortable. She saw me but did not say anything and kept on what she was doing. There is no microwave in the hotel room but the kitchen by the counter has one. You need to ask the desk for water if you need it for making your food. The room is by far the prettiest and biggest, it makes you feel like your at home and the breakfast is decent.
