General Mitchell has a surprising number of parking options available for a mid-hub airport. The parking garage at the airport has hourly and daily parking areas available. Free shuttle service is available 24 hours a day. Shuttles typically run every 10 to 15 minutes. This is a good option for travelers who will be parking for several days and don't mind taking extra time to ride the shuttle and get to the terminal building.

Handicapped Parking

The parking garage has designated parking spaces available for the disabled on floors 1, 3, and 5 in the daily parking area. The walkway from the garage to the terminal has a moving walkway, which means disabled people can use the walkway without having to walk a long distance. Handicapped parking spaces are available in the surface lot and remote lots as well. Most of the free shuttles are accessible; ask a driver if the shuttle you want to take is equipped with the kinds of accommodations you need in order to ride.
