Located behind a backdrop of red-rock mesas on the Colorado River, Sorrel River Ranch Resort is a perfect base camp for families and couples seeking an adventurous vacation.

Located in a Colorado River location that's removed from the national parks, the resort is remote and secluded. There are no restaurants or shops within walking distance and popular attractions such as Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park, and Hurrah Passare are thirty-minutes to an hour away. Downtown Moab, which offers plenty of adventure tours, restaurants, shops, and cafes is just 25 minutes away.

There are three restaurants, including the classically decorated River Grill, with large windows overlooking property. Both the River Deck and Riverside Bar offer rocking chairs and patio furniture directly on the Colorado River for guests’ enjoyment. Also on-site is the cozy Professor Valley Dining Room featuring a fireplace, a potbelly stove, a spiral staircase, comfy leather sofas, and an enclosed patio with river views. There’s also a relaxing spa, a sauna, steam room, locker room, a fireplace treatment room, and a standard gym. There is also an outdoor pool and hot tub offering wonderful views. There are also six meeting rooms, event lawns, a pavilion, and river deck that can be rented out.

Accommodations come in the form of houses and cabins. The cabins come in four categories ranging from Mountain-View, River-View, Spa, and Family. All styles of rooms offer subtle Wild West, Southwest décor touches. All accommodations come with bathrobes, flat-screen TVs, kitchenettes with microwaves and minifridges. Family units offer two bathrooms and riverside decks, while the three-bedroom Ranch House features leather furniture, a kitchen, a kitchenette, a patio, and balcony, along with a fireplace, a laundry room, and three bathrooms.
