The Chateau Moncton an Ascend Collection Hotel & Suites is ideally located near downtown center and across the Champlain Mall. It also next to the Wheeler Boulevard, which surrounds the city of Moncton. Taxes include 2 percent DMF (Direct Marketing Fee)
Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was good but staff was kept running to keep food and tables in supply. Location was convenient, also supermarket and gas station right across street.
Beautiful room nice decor plenty of space and clean
Noisy no restaurant, river view was ugly t.v.had no info channel or guide ....who has that ???
good spot right on the river, close to downtown, walking distance to restaurant (expensive), large rooms, comfortable beds, helpful staff, morning breakfast was better than expected.
electronic device for nearby attractions really did not work
Great view & location, the free breakfast was the best we ever had
non hotel guest used the parking lot for their jogging which made it difficult sometimes to find a spot
The large rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast ..wonderful service!
Convenient location and the room was a good size with comfortable queen size beds. The breakfast was also very good.
NO PETS, NO SMOKING,IT WAS A TRUE DELIGHTFUL ACCOMODATION,,,WE ACTUALLY BOOKED IT FOR THIS Friday but unfortunately will cancel because game has been moved to Fredericton...sorry but it will be a choice location in Moncton in the feature...
Excellent Hôtel !The Hotel Employee provided Excellent Customer Service High Quality Comfort Beds - Great Night Sleep !Excellent Overall Experience !
Very clean, friendly atmosphere of the building and property located in Moncton. Diverse breakfast.
We seem to bother the man in the reception when we arrived (was at the limit of politeness) .The room on the end of the corridor was near the exit door on the outside and all the times she was closing , it woke us up.
Very noisy as it is right on top of a very busy road.
It was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.
The complimentary hot breakfast lacked appeal. Scrambled eggs, greasy sausages and bacon and instant porridge.
-location is not bad -spacious rooms -looks great from outside -thats it!
-service not great.. -breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary -not worth the $$$
It was pretty good to stay, it definately did not feel like a chataeu all around due to the free breakfast stuff. I look for good customer service, but this time they were kind of rude the whole time I stayed. Other than that everything was great! Staff in reception, housekeeping, and just general employees have the best customer service I've experience by far. Reception staff are very knowledgeable and you should ask for things to do. E.g. PEI, Treego, and such....
The Chateau Moncton is a very nice hotel. It's located on Main Street in Moncton, NB. The room we had was spacious and very well furnished. Main Street is a very busy street so it is nice that there is a stop light that can be used for getting in and out of the hotel parking lot. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there are literally dozens of them nearby. The hotel does have a bar which is open in the evening and does serve a very nice continental breakfast. Our rate of $/night was a bit higher than the rates I'm use to paying for hotels/motels, but I believe it was worth the extra cost. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
Took a 2 week trip thru Quebec and New Bunswick - this was a highlight. Very easy to find, great continental breakfast and large, very clean spacious rooms. Small parking lot - but was able to find parking each night.
