During summer evenings, a charming open gallery offers the guest a change to taste typical umbrian specialities, such as olive oil, truffles, legumes...., while sipping the renowed "Sagrantino" wine and listening to a local pianist. Cooking classes by Alessandra are held on request for small groups, classes include the preparation of typical umbrian dishes. The twelve soundproof rooms and three suites all have direct line telephones, line - radio, satellite television, minibar, safe, hair - dryer and of course, en suite bathrooms. Villa Pambuffetti offers reading and living rooms, banquet-hall, meeting rooms, bars. Riding school 3 miles away - Golf-course 20 miles away - S.Egidio Airport 13 miles away. Construction of the "Villa" began in the early 1800s, but the villa as seen today was completed a century later as final additions were made. The Villa is located in Montefalco, the small town, beautifully placed on top of a 1,500- foot hill, revealing unexpected artistic treasures, such as stunning renaissance paintings by Perugino, Melanzio, Gozzoli, Niccolò and Tiberio of Assisi. During the Easter period, the Winetasting Week takes place, with stands and stalls featuring DOC and DOCG wines of Montefalco, Umbrian wines and other Italian wines. Every summer there is the Montelfalco August festival, with stalls, concerts, theatre and traditional costumes which concludes with the traditional "Fuga del Bove".
