Very clean and comfortable hotel. Bedding was very comfy. Staff was extra friendly. Bathroom was as clean as I have ever seen from a hotel anywhere, especially one that is not brand new. Shower water pressure was just right, and hot water was consistently available at any time, despite the fact that there was at least one high school softball team staying there. :) Safe area on eastern edge of Montgomery. Very safe. Shopping and dining is plentiful, as the hotel is next to the popular East Chase shopping area. McDonald's is next door; more restaurants in a shopping center within walking distance, as is a supermarket. A cut above what you would normally expect from the Sleep Inn banner, and at this price point.
Breakfast selection was a little sparse, but the items there were of good quality. Elevator was a bit slow.
The bed was comfortable, and overall the room was nice. The breakfast was good, and the breakfast staff was friendly. The price and location of the hotel were great. It was fine, but I don't think we'd stay there again.
The cups provided in the bathroom were individually wrapped in plastic, but there were holes in the plastic and the cups were damp and soapy and smelly. I am pregnant and have two small children. I called the front desk to ask for an extra sheet, and I had to go to the front desk to get it. It would have been really nice for them to bring it to the room. We were weary travelers.
