Hard to believe AAA gives this place 3 stars . When arriving we were told they were over booked so they had to change our room, however the parking lot was empty??? We had a downstairs room and OMG NOISE all night long! walking over our heads, the water pipes knocking constantly all night. We went for breakfast, WHICH WAS GOOD BY THE WAY, in their lobby only to return to our room and be locked out, had to go back to desk for new keys, they changed the code so our keys didnt work. It is on a main road, so car;s passing all night AHHHHH, no rest what so ever. Did I mention the bolt on our door was broken off, so we only had the lock on the knob to feel secure. Our door appear to be closed when in fact you had to slam it for it to secure itself. Just wanted a relaxing weekend from home, this was not the case. Run , run quickly do not stay here!
i expected more because of Travelocity's 3-star rating but found it more like a good 2-star hotel.
This is not a Resort property, but to stay in Napa itself and be close to downtown for the price was exceptional. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.
When we arrived, they were expecting us, no problem with reservation or check-in. The rooms are good sized, clean and comfortable. The desk chair in the room would not maintain the proper height. The older TV did not work. The glass canister for making coffee was missing. All of these things were fixed to our satisfaction as soon as we made the request. The WiFi access is not secure. We arrived for breakfast during the last half-hour and they were running out of supplies. The building is older, which explains the fairly thin walls. But the convenience was wonderful. Since we do not spend much time in the room, we were satisfied and would stay there again.
Good breakfast buffet. Clean and comfortable beds. Convenient location in Napa. Plenty of parking. Would stay there again.
I visit Napa at least twice a year and stayed all over the valley. This hotel was probably the worst I had stayed at Napa in past 10 years. First, I had a hard time checking in. even though the reservation was made well in advance and I arrived after 3 PM, I was rudely informed by the front desk person that there was absolutely no room available for me. They had me sit for a 'few minutes'. After 30 minutes wasted, there was still no room. Finally, after screaming and kicking, they gave me a room with different bed type. As a I arrived in the room, I found it much inferior than most of the other hotels I had stayed in term of quality of bed, sheets, furnishing/furniture (curtain that I can't close completely),wall (how thin it is), lack of Wi-Fi, and even TV channel selection. I also had no bath tub - which I assumed was why I was not given this room. As I rested at night, I noted constant squeaking from the ceiling, even when people upstairs is walking. For next two night, I noted the constant squeaking noise. Breakfast was OK, but it would be nice to have earlier hours for those of up leaving our hotel early. All in all, I was disappointed at this hotel. Sadly, I brought 4 other couples with me to this hotel for this trip, and none of them were impressed with this hotel as well. Despite of the saving in the cost, I would not stay here again.
Very good location. Close to everything. Clean & Comfortable Room. Good Service. Only con was wifi was not functioning.
Our family of 3, including a 1 year old, stayed here for a July weekend. For what we paid, this was a great value. There's no fancy TV or shampooed carpet, but they do have a fridge, microwave, a kitchenette sink, which are all essential when traveling with a small child. The free crib that they let us borrow was a little rickety, but was fine. The free breakfast is no Embassy Suite, but they do provide hot scrambled eggs, sausages, and country potatoes. Target and Raleys supermarket is right across the street, so if you need anything, it's right there. Downtown Napa is just a 4 minute drive away. If you want a meal within walking distance, Black Bear Diner is right across the street as well. For those of you who's not familiar with Black Bear, it's a chain of country style diners that you'll find in the relatively rural parts of Northern California. Big portions and great pies. A couple of negatives: the so-called indoor pool didn't feel like it was heated at all. While in the room, you could clearly hear the cleaning carts and wheeled luggage coming down the concrete walkway. Wish they could roll out some mats on the walkway to dampen the noise.
The hotel is in a great location. Near many fast food and other resturants and a shopping complex that has a Target and a grocery store for any forgotten needs or snacks. Breakfast was simple usually powder eggs, hash browns and a meat either sausage or bacon. They also had fruits , cereals and breads as well. My room was clean and it had plenty of towls. There was easy access to 29 or the Silverado and to downtown Napa. Even though it was on a busy street, I did not notice any noise. The Pool was very small so kids might not be happy.
This was a great deal for the money. Just don't expect a five star hotel.
The staff were always helpful, offering suggestions, directions and accomodating our requests for extra towels. We found the location central to wineries, shopping and dining. The price was much more reasonable than many of the other hotels in the area. We were amazed at the amenities, an indoor pool, workout room and breakfast. Plenty of room, there were 4 of us, sharing one room. We will come back and stay again.
It was a good price for the room, close to downtown, it was comfy, good breakfast in the morning. would stay there again.
Indoor pool is AWESOME, breakfast buffet is great, and close to downtown Napa. Perfect for us - husband and I and our two young sons. Highly recommend and would absolutely return!
Room was okay. It was a room. The location was awful
This hotel is very close to the NAPA downtown & close to the grocery and fast food restaurants. The rooms away from the streets are pretty quiet. With the price we paid, it's very nice to include the hot breakfast. The staff were very nice and helpful. We definitely will go back again to this hotel.
