Car was beat and broken. No AC. Barely started a few times. Waited in line for 40 mins to get the car.

I reserved a midsize and I received a compact car that was old, beat up, and dirty. It was a Suzuki swift fr 4 people.

The car rental office I designated for pickup was closed. The airport location did not honor my pricing, and the woman at front desk was rude, distracted, and completely unhelpful. I will be calling budget to request a refund.

This was one of the most atrocious and stressful experiences. I’m shocked at how this is able to still operate. The manager/owner Adeline Chee-A-Tow laughed in my face when I told her it’s unacceptable. The car was confirmed. But they didn’t have any cars. So after spending an hour and 50$ to get to the office. I was suggested to take a bus back to my hotel to save some money. I had the BUDGET offices close this office. The 3rd party website was just as useless. Saying “we can’t find any reservations sorry. At least they didn’t charge you” Shut this business down

Pros:

From pick up to return, renting from Hertz at the Nassau airport was seamless. The counter clerk was friendly, maps were provided, check-in and out were quick and our vehicle was just as described. Good experience.

The car got amazing miles per gallon and was simple to operate.

Cons:

The ad said the rental office was at the port when in fact it was 6 blocks away and there were no directions in the ad how to get there.
