With a nod to its illustrious past, The New York Palace has taken an ambitious leap into the future. The Palace – a legendary New York City luxury hotel – underwent a thorough transformation from a historic Madison Avenue gem to Midtown’s premier modern hotel.
This Midtown Manhattan hotel features 909 spacious rooms and suites – including 176 newly renovated exclusive Towers accommodations – which provide the perfect setting for relaxation and inspired stays in New York City. Unique dining venues, such as Pomme Palais, offer everything from imaginative breakfast dishes to signature pastries and sandwiches. The Palace’s collection of versatile meeting and event spaces is ideal for weddings, corporate events and social occasions. The hotel’s famed Villard Mansion built in 1882 is recognized as a New York City Landmark and gracefully blends with a contemporary 55-story tower. The Madison Avenue Courtyard provides a dramatic entryway to the hotel’s grand lobby.
Staff was very cordial and gave excellent customer service.
Charge for Wi-Fi was unexpected for a $700 a night room.
room wasnt clean properly by housekeeping
Location, good neibourhood , good loung and snack shop . Also rooms were good side and clean with proper functioning bathroom.
I wish they had a sit down restaurant of their own. Although they are close to restaurants on the street.
Nice ambiance. Good elevators to get to room efficiently
Poor housekeeping. Bathroom smelled musty. They forgot to leave washcloths one time. Then forgot to leave shampoo another time. When we called for shampoo to shower took 1.5 hours to come. Also asked for blankets when checked in which never came.
Convenient location to everything we were doing and the Molton Brown products are terrific! It's a luxurious hotel and a lovely interlude from the chaos of Manhattan.
We asked for some champagne flutes and the ones we received were delivered dirty. We called and asked for replacements and it took well over an hour to receive them - at that point we had washed the flutes ourselves in the bathroom sink.
We architecture of the overall hotel was very elegant. And the rooms were nicely appointed with unique furniture.
Charging for Internet access
Location, ambiance, service, view, gym, and food.
Mail room services and the Bellman Station appeared to be during us a favor when we asked to have our bags stored after check-out. The rest of the staff in my experience were helpful and pleasant, especially Housekeeping and Room service!!
cost of room service! lack of dining areas for served breakfast/lunch
