Calling on influences from Andy Warhol and beyond, Sixty LES integrates art, design, and comfort in a way that exudes all that's great about downtown Manhattan. This boutique hotel is ideal for guests searching for style as much as convenience. Arty rooms and an independent vibe are hallmarks of this hotel on Manhattan's hip, bustling Lower East Side.
About the Hotel
Sixty LES delivers on comfort and service. The health conscious will enjoy the hotel's emphasis on well-being, with a 24-hour, guests-only fitness center and spa, bicycle rentals, and a fabulous swimming pool. Stylish, sleek rooms are equipped with air conditioning and WiFi is available at the hotel for a small charge. The hotel's proximity to the Lower East Side and its rooftop bar, Above Allen, make it ideal for revelers; however, families are just as welcome, with on-site babysitting services and of course, the seasonal pool.
Sixty LES is close to several subway stations and is situated in a neighborhood well worth exploring, from the Tenement Museum and the iconic Katz's Deli to the array of sleek new bars and clubs. Meanwhile, the charms of Little Italy and Chinatown are a short walk away, as is Soho's extensive shopping and the East Village's plethora of bars and restaurants.
Stunning penthouse. Recommended for absolutely amazing views and parties.
At times, tough to get ice up to the room as there are two elevators to the area - sometimes one could not hear the knocking. Solution, Keep the doors open so that they can walk in without difficulty.
The staff, food, vibe, smell, and the help
Not at all, Room 705 was noisy. Poor service was provided.
I was treated very well by hotel staff. There was a room upgrade available and it was given to me without asking. It's a short walk away from SoHo shops and the subway is across the street.
I did not enjoy the on site restaurant (Shang Restaurant). It's was empty for the most part of the weekend and the service was a bit poor...which is odd because there were no customers.
the staff was great at suggesting places to go and places to dine. The room was clean and contemporary in style
not a lot of space to put luggage, if you want to live out of it. Its best to just unpack and use the closet space
From the decor of the hotel, to the hot staff, to the art deco rooms, it was a great stay. I will definitely make this my new nyc hotel.
It was an amazing room, with an amazing bathroom. Nice bed, lots of tv channels. We were taken good care off. If we needed anything they could get it.
Elevators were slow.
