Superb location near a lot of great restaurants and across the street from a subway station.
It was rather dirty.
The towels and sheets were dirty.Did not offer any amenities.Did not even have a cup in the room.Upon arrival the television and safe did not work.
In New York, everything is about location. The rooms were small, but the hotel was around the corner from the Grand Street subway station. It's a quick trip to anywhere in the city, and there's lots to do in Chinatown.
Our first room had a full and a twin instead of two twins as advertised. We also found stains on the sheets from bed bugs, but we notified the staff and they put us in another, much bigger room in the corner. It was a much better spot, and we enjoyed it!
This hotel was a fantastic place to stay for the money.
It could have been a little bit cleaner, but by no means was it filthy. The place was a perfect place to stay for people who are looking for a place to bed down while exploring. The rooms are small but functional. The location is awesome, the neighborhood is pretty safe, and the park across the street is a good place to let the kids unwind. Tons of good places to eat within short walking distance, too. I would absolutely stay here again.
I liked the location because it was in walking distance to my relative's house less than a mile away. The room was clean and in good condition for the money spent.
I ready someone else's comment about the bed being hard as a rock, and I have to concur with that statement because I share the same experience. The bed was quite hard!Overall, the hotel was clean and my experience was pleasant.
the beds were hard as a roof and the room was small with no were to sit no ice machinefine somewhere else.
Hotel has a great location and reasonably priced for the area. Most importantly, the rooms were clean. The staff was friendly as well.
Very loud on the 1st floor. could not sleep. This Hotel was perfect for my boyfriend and I for a quick one night stay to see a show and grab some dinner. Situated near Noho and Chinatown, makes for great places to eat and shop, just within a quick walk. Maybe it was my bad luck, but we were given the room on the 1st floor. This made for an impossible nights sleep, you could hear everyone walk in and out of the hotel, every conversation in the lobby, outside and even in the neighboring rooms. The rooms were clean, no bells and whistles. Just a clean room at a reasonable price. If I stay here again, I will defiantly ask for a higher floor room.
clean, friendly, interesting neighborhood (chinatown, little italy)
too far from midtown
Location, it was relatively safe and near a metro.
It was really noisy, could hear all street noise. Toiletries were not very good quality given price of room.Bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Even though they were provided, they were not of good quality. Staff bring earplugs. But, experience was still generally good, especially given price of hotels in NYC.
