This hotel was designed by James Renwick, known for The New York Public Library and Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, in 1890. Originally, it was meant to be a hostelry for high-end socialites and bachelors that came to New York’s Club Row. This pet-friendly hotel has since been transformed and now offers luxurious accommodations to guests throughout the 126 rooms and suites. The Club Room, right off the main lobby, is available for entertaining and meetings. This room was originally designed as the hotel’s parlor and has been restored to its traditional Beaux Arts library design, offering a home-like setting right in the heart of New York City. Within walking distance, guests can visit Grand Central Station, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and all of the best shopping on Fifth Avenue.

Pros (+) The location mid-town was very convenient to my conference.
Cons (-) Bedbugs. They moved me to a much better room, but I was not confident that it was bedbug free. There was no way to make tea or coffee in my room. A huge drawback as far as I am concerned.
