The pool and hot tub were un serviceable they looked really dirty
The staff was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very friendly. Breakfast was also good.
The staff was very friendly and the amenities were very good.
My friends and I have stayed at this location for the last few years since all hotels in Hampton, VA are booked for the Hampton Jazz Festival and I thought I asked for a non-smoking room and that wasn't the case. All of our clothes and belongings smelled of smoke. I wanted to request another room, however there was a sign at the front desk stating no vacancies. I will know better next year.
Large spacious suite. The breakfast was decent, the staff was kind and very helpful.
The beds could be more comfortable.
The room was a nice size and clean. We let them know we would be a late check-in at 12am, and we were there at 12:05am...They were 100% booked and I am grateful they held our room for us. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful. I would stay here again as the location was easy to access from I-64.
The breakfast was ok; however, it was free so I won't complain. I would suggest the eggs and sausage be cooked a bit differently, less soggy/runny. I should have asked for extra blankets because the comforters on the beds are thin. This is just a personal preference. I was hesitant to call room service at 2am for this. It may be helpful to keep a couple of extra blankets in the closet for guests.
The staff are great, friendly and want to please, but are limited in what they can do.
The room I was in, 308, had a big slice in the sofa, like there had been a knife fight in there previously. I was switched from 309 where there was no heat (below freezing out) and where the TV didn't work. The furniture appeared dirty and sagging. The cabinet that held the TV had been cut in half to hide the fact it had been broken. Peeking out from under the bed skirt was the ripped corners of the box spring, which appeared to be 100 years old of so. The toilet ran all night, though I reported it to the front desk, the maintenance staff never got to it in my 10 night stay. No effort was made to cover the smell if cigarette smoke. How much does an air freshener, used in other hotels, cost?
