The room came with a refrigerator, micowave, coffee pot, dishes, cups, glasses essentially everything you could want. Microwaveable meals were available for purchase. Free breakfast, free wine and food at Happy Hour. Internet was free as well as parking.
No alcohol available.
The staff were very professional and friendly. The rooms were very clean, spacious and generally exceeded expectations. The location is perfect, quiet but close enough to stores and restaurants. Awesome breakfast buffet. Free food on Tue-Thur evening!
The hallways could be cleaned a little moreThere is nothing that is kid-friendly
All the amenities
It's remodeled, but with a lot of cheap products and trim work
The location was very nice and near very good restaurants.
Friendly, attentive staff.
Very spacious room, free breakfast, close to shopping and restaurants.
The rooms was nice and breakfast was also nice
My problem with the hotel was at check in they gave me a room that was already occupied, with another couple. And I walked in on them having a very private moment!!
Very wide variety of choices for the complimentary breakfast. Having the refrigerator was very convenient.
There were an unusually large number of unattended youth in the hallways/stairwells and at times the noise was disturbing. I realize the parents were more at fault in not attending to their children, but it did affect my feelings toward the hotel.
Public areas are under construction, smells like paint
The close proximity to our event.
Renovations were underway. A key card could not be provided to us for our room. Staff had to let us into our room. They were very courteous and responsive we needed them.
The rooms had full kitchens, DVD players, and were very homey.
The construction, no swimming pool
The hotel has an amazing remote location. Still near major expressways as well as most of the upscale restaurants. Very spacious room, an amazing renovation from last year, the front desk was accommodating to all my needs.
I respect and understand the reason why the hotel is no longer smoking. However it did take some of the pleasure out of my stay.
The rooms were large and very clean. Felt like we were at home.
Did not know the hotel was under repair when booking.
I couldn't complain about anything.
How helpful and caring the staff was.
The improvements weren't quite completed in the room I got.
I enjoyed the ccleanliness and size of room
There was no pool even though when booking it we were told there was. There were even things in room mentioning a pool. We were not only guests to be upset about this. Would not have booked if we knew.
nothing worst place I have ever stayed
treated me like i was a villain
The staff was not helpful and friendly. It had snowed on the 18th but they didn't even clear the front of the lobby door till the next day when we left. When asked the person at the front desk she said they are coming. The person at the breakfast too.
room is clean and comfort.
Terrible service from front desk staff. Also, they did not clean snow in the parking lot.
The hotel was in a nice area
The staff and the manager are money hungry liars just looking to make money off of their guests. They are trying to charge me an additional $250 for smoking in the room (which I did not do). Do not waste your money with this place!
room setup and furniture arrangements
Room was filthy, manager refused to issue refund even though left same hour checked into dirty room. Toilet overflowed, shower did not work. Stained bed sheets! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
I liked the little seating area in the room.
The bed wasn't very comfortable and we had problems with the toilet.
hotel is very good
We travel to the Chicago area to visit family and to take in the shopping and the restaurants and to visit a variety of the suburbs around the Chicago area along with the variety of museums theatre and music overall a good get away in a safe location where we can also take our pets
We were greeted with smiles from each staff person we saw at any time of our stay. The suite with 2 double beds was so comfortable and it was nice having a kitchen available to us in our room. Breakfast was beyond our expectaions. One day they made omlets and the next day there was scrambled eggs with sausage. Boiled eggs were always available. They also had cereals, waffles, muffings, bagels, oatmeal, mixed fruite, cottage cheese, salsa, juice, coffee, tea and soda. We were extremely pleased with the variety. The entire building was clean and the room was spotless. The beds were cozy and comfortable. This facility is well maintained. Would absolutely stay again. Located near shopping area and within driving distance to the train downtown. One of new favorite places to stay.
We stayed here back in August of 2010. This Hotel seems to be more for the business traveler than the family traveler. The location seemed quiet and secluded from the big city. If you bring the family, they have a pond out by their patio that my kids enjoyed feeding bread to the ducks which was meant to be used for toast from the free continental breakfast (don't know if the ducks are there all of time). We stayed in the king suite which felt like a cozy one bedroom apartment. Seen alot of the guests carrying groceries back to their rooms to use in the kitchens that are provided in the rooms, but if you don't want to cook for yourself there's a TGI Fridays close by .
I stayed here in October, 2008 for a weekend trip. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was pleasently surprised by the hot breakfast included in the price. The location is near a great mall and close to downtown.
