PART 1: If I could give this place 0 stars... I would. What an insult of a place. If I could give them negative stars I would. Thank God I only stayed for a night. This is middle of nowhere motel quality. This is $20 a night hole in the wall quality. To the point that I wouldn't be surprised if I come home with bed bugs. The place is disgusting. Everything is dirty. But let me start from the beginning. We arrived from a 10hr flight from Paris, tired, and ready to use a bathroom that is not a litter box. They gave us our room, on our way there a random guy asks where are we staying and he took a key from his pocket and open OUR room, he later said he was housekeeping.. He didn't even have a uniform. We got to the room the beds were halfway made, and the a/c sounded like the engine of an airplane. To the point we had to raise our voices to speak. Well we went back to the lobby (if you can call that a lobby - just a waiting area) and the lady apologizes that she had placed us in a "out of service" room. Well she never came to our room to take us out, she waited till we showed up. After that, they gave us a room on the second floor, mind you, 3 of us, 6 suitcases, from a trip that lasted over a month + NO ELEVATOR... Yeah the stairs were not a lot, but after a 10hr flight carrying 6 full size suitcases was a challenge. No one helped. The hallways are all exposed to the elements, but there is no upkeep. No sweeping. But whatever that's besides the point. I'll give it to them, it is outside.
PART 2: EVERYTHING is old in the room, even the key pad. We had to swipe the key twice or three times. We got in, the curtains were broken, I stayed with the stick to move them in my hand. We never understood how the a/c worked. If I put it on 73-74 we will freeze; 75-76 we will sweat. The beds were okay, the bathroom where the toilet is, has zero ventilation and the a/c never reaches it. So it's an oven. Specially after a shower. We came with $10K worth of stuff, from gifts, electronics, stuff we bought, jewelry, etc. there is no safe to put any of your valuables. So we didn't really feel at peace when we left the room to go visit family. There was garbage under the beds, no "do not disturb" sign; not that I needed it since no one came to clean up the room before check out. The closet is a good size. Well we had something to look forward to tho, free continental breakfast. They give you a coupon for that, it's from 7-10 am. If the room was an insult, this was the final punch on the face. It was one table ... With literally nothing, and we were there at 8am. There was regular loaf bread that smelled like beer, stale mini muffins, and you make your own waffles - only if the batter machine decides to work for you. There was ham, and cheese, and all this other options that if you wanted them you had to pay extra. A couple of old folks drop some muffins and a cup on the floor by mistake, and they lady taking care of the breakfast area; just kicked everything under the table. Yeah, exactly.. For over $100 a night, I have never felt more ripped off in my life. If this place was half or one third of the price I might consider staying. But don't ever pay more than 50$ for a room here. You will be better off somewhere else. The only think good about it, is the location. But it's not justifying the price and the upkeep of the place.
Area was nice
Resort is old and the ambiance was like staying in an inferior motel. Bathrooms are very out dated, Bath tub caulking was yellow. Furniture was also out dated.
Nothing was favoorable.
It smelled like vomit. I ended up with a eye infecction, wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.
Free parking, pool and decent staff.
Old, dingy room. Bathroom smelled like someone just finished smoking in it. Bed sheets didn't smell fresh.
Room was big. In room fridge was a good size. Pool was nice. Rooms were decently clean.
Lobby was run down, staff cursing to each other in front of guests, building a little run down, outside walkways & parking lot not well lit, pillows were terrible, blankets were thin and old, room not cleaned till 4:30 pm, tub faucet and shower broken, room had a peculiar smell to it.
The small double bed was comfortable enough.
The dead palmeto bug (Florida cockroach) in the vanity. The completely different style hot and cold water knobs in the shower - and I do mean completely different. The. orn out curtains. The tv with only about 10 channels. The lack of a fridge or microwave. No elevators. Parking no closer than a hundred or so yards away in a parking lot not viewable from your room. And did I mention you get all of this for a mere $175.00 per night.
Out dated and bathroom was not up to par
Clean room and accomodating staff. Probably due for some updating but decor not objectioanable.
Old too expensive for how the room is and dirty. Bed was horrible and hard.
Entrance at night. It looked romantic at first with the lack of light.
Everything else. This place was a rat hole. Not the most welcoming staff. Walking down the hallway where we encountered a pile of dishes next to the laundry room. Dark and suspicious people walking around. Upon entering the room the foul smell in the room was unbearable! We checked out asap!
The rooms are very out dated, old romm furniture, old curtains that were hanging off the railing. The hotel advertised that they had cable, they old offered local channels (7) channels ti be exact. The bathroom was also out dated and tiles were old and worn. The hotel looked beautiful from the outside.
