Comfortable beds slept like a baby. The breakfast was good and tasty. The room and bathroom were very clean. And the staff was super nice and helpful
Could improve parking.
The continental breakfast was more than I expected as it not only had the staples, but hot breakfast foods as well.
Maybe this is common knowledge in the Phoenix area, but the pool was not heated. Because it was December, even though it was warm out, it wasn't hot enough to go in. This was upsetting as we came there on vacation and were looking forward to some pool time. There was also no hot tub.
I really liked to location for my purposes of interviewing at St. Joseph's Hospital. I think if you are interested in staying downtown, this is not the best choice for you.
The sleep number bed wasn't my preference.
Great breakfast with a lot of choices.
Sleep number mattress was broken and not comfortable at all, would have preferred just a normal mattress.
Most uncomfortable bed ever. And no fridge in the room.
breakfast was good. pool was nice
no pool towels. not exactly a great neighborhood - adult store across the street. housekeeping woke us up at 8am to ask when we were leaving.
Bed was comfortable
Food, room smelled like mold, old outdated room except for TV, Ac not blowing enough to cool room. One pool not working, dirty.
It was clean, breakfast included.
Was told we had till 10:30am for breakfast and by 956 they were closing it up.
The hotel staff was great, very accommodating and helpful. The room I was in was good, the fridge was loud and needed the compressor to be fixed, but in spite of that the room was clean and comfortable, air conditioner worked flawlessly, TV was great. Bathroom was nice. Clean and plenty of hot water.
The only issues with the hotel for me, are that the WiFi was pretty horrible in my part of the hotel, it would drop ask the time and fail to connect and could only get two bars on anyone of my three devices. And lastly just the fridge in my room needs the compressor fixed.
The location close to downtown and the shuttle service. I also liked the bar of the restaurant because the drinks were reasonably priced. Staff was fine.
My room had a faint smell of cigarette smoke - not bad enough to move but it was there. Also a light bulb was out on the nightstand. The "fitness center" is a joke - 2 treadmills (one of which did not work) and an elliptical, plus some weights. Breakfast was okay. It is just an old tired facility. However, I was only there for one night and it was okay. I would stay again if need be.
Nothing we walked in and an hour and a half later we were on our way to a new hotel.
They did not honor their contract
I like its location and its proximity to downtown.
carpets are old, furniture is old, its just old and tired and needs to be renovated. The room was very clean and they do a good job keeping it up but management needs to get rid of the old furniture and televisions.
Toilet clog and no bell serviceservices
Staff, especially the restaurant staff, were great and accommodating
Pool was not heated at the time due to repairs being made...hence the low nightly rate.
Great quite and clean, love the spread on the morning breakfast
I had the view of the generator and ac system. Nothing else from room
Extremely disappointed in this hotel! All the reviews said it was nice and it was very far from that. My husband and I were there for our wedding as well as my 3 year old son. The rooms are small, the beds which are sleep numbers rarely worked and worst of all there was no microwave. I know that's not a big deal for some but having a 3 year old a microwave helps. On our wedding night my husband and I were returning from the ceremony, still in the dress and tux, as we walked through the lobby very joyful and laughing the guy behind the counter asked us to be quiet! We were only in the lobby for maybe 30 seconds and we were hardly loud enough to cause any commotion. Besides you would figure a hotel that does weddings would be more appreciative of nuptials. The only positive thing about this hotel was the jungle gym on the grounds for my son. But in regards to how my husband and I were treated on our wedding night I don't believe I will be staying at Wyndham Hotels anytime in the future.
We had car trouble while traveling into Phoenix and were unsure if the dealership could assist us on a Saturday. The hotel assured us we could stay over if needed at the same rate and were very accomodating. When we were able to get the car fixed, the staff had no trouble with an extended late check-out. The included breakfast was very good and NOT you typical free carb load breakfast. Thank you Karla at the front desk.
The parking garage would be the only negative I would say at this time. It did not have easy access into the hotel and left a lot to be desired in regards to cleanliness and maintenance. Just left a little uneasy about parking there.
Location was decent, if hard to find. Grounds were nicely maintained and nice.
The mattress was bad (broken sleep number), the check-in staff was rude, more focused on conversing with coworkers than helping. Room was small for the price. Air conditioner was loud. Hard to find location.
Rooftop garden. The pool was drained while we were there but it was beautiful anyway. Sleep number beds! Clean and quiet. Didn't get to try the breakfast but the room service menu sounded delicious and was typical for a higher class hotel.
The room was very small. They had number beds but they didn't work. Room smelt musty. Lots of homeless people outside of hotel.
