the dining area :)
the pool can hardly be considered a pool.. it's more like the size of a hot tub... and the rooms could be upgraded a little, considering the hotel is 30+ years old.Don't get too excited over the pool- it's tiny. Also, the rooms were semi-clean, but the sink area is TINY, and the wallpaper will give you a headache if you look at it too long.. unless you like the 70's era decorating. :( The girl at the front desk was nice, tho, and the breakfast was pretty good. :) And the location wasn't too far off the freeway, so that's a plus as well.
It was comfortable.
Staff stood outside of door talking for 20 minutes or more when I was trying to sleep. Had to call and have them removed. On the whole it was fairly good.
The hot tubUpon arrival I explained to the front desk clerk that we were here as part of our anniversary and asked if they had any nice rooms available or if we could upgrade. She said she could absolutely not do an upgrade and that we were reserved for a queen bed room only. I stated that we needed at least a king and that I would be happy to pay for an upgrade to the king room. She said that wasn't possible because we had bought our room through Priceline and that her hotel manager would not allow an upgrade to another room. I asked if we could at least have a room with two queens and she said that we had been assigned a queen bed only. I asked to speak to her manager and she said that he was not there but that his policy is that 'because we have no idea what you paid Priceline, we can't let you pay at all to upgrade your room'. I asked her again for a king bed as my husband is a large man and she adamantly refused to give us any kind of room change. I hav...
Too noisy.Lady that checked me in did not care I had difficulty with the stairs. She stated there are only 7 steps. By the way there were 11. I have never had someone so stupid in their remarks. I asked for a quiet room & had the noisiest neighbors.Lousy- not even 1 star. Does not have a person at the main desk 24/7. Called about the alarm going off in the room across from me. I heard a nice gentleman talking to someone on a walkie talkie stating not to do anything until someone complained. I told him I tried to tell the main desk 3 times. I complained at check out but I think nothing will be done with their inefficiency. The main person who checked me in should be fired. If I said that crap on the job, I would be fired. Do not tell a customer what they can and can not do. I barely was recovering from a broken leg in 2 places. She does not care and told me to tough it out.
The hotel had great spacious rooms, great service and very attentive staff. The linens were great as was the soap. The Best Western Cottontree is a centrally located hotel in Pocatello, Idaho. Geared to the business traveller, the hotel meets every expectation as the pool is available 24 hours, there is a business centre and also a computer is avaible in the lobby. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The room was very nice. Shower was great. Breakfast was good.
Unfortunately, the room we were assigned could not be accessed by handicapped because of stairs and we were moved to a room in an unattached building.
Beds were comfortable, free wifi, nice tv, free breakfast & no charge for pets. A few restaurants were within walking distance & gas stations were nearby
TV remote would not work but staff replaced remote & got tv working right away. Sink was too small for two people. There was no fridge or microwave.Staff seemed very friendly & helpful. Hotel is close to interstate & few restaurants & gas stations were about a block away. They also had coin operated washer/dryers which we used. Beds/linens were comfortable & lots of pillows. There was no elevator & hallways seemed very narrow when carrying luggage. We were on 2nd floor & luckily there was a walkway. Breakfast was better than average. No charge for pets.
It was outdated, but very nicePleased with our stay and our purchase.
This hotel has spacific rooms designated to Price Line. They are extreamly small, nearly walk around if you need to iron anything Becareful as there isn't room for and iron board and walking both. Spoke to the staff about this and the reply was negative! We have bever been so disappointed in the 10 plus years of being a Price Line customer!!! After speaking with the hotel staff twice we were informed very negatively the manager has designated spacific budget rooms for Price Line customers and I repeat her comment: 'as they are cheap and we don't make nothing from them!' We called Price Line to requested assistance, after being placed on hold for 10 minutes. Price Lines customer service informed us there was a queen bed in the room therefore there was nothing we could do! There wasn't enough room for two adults and their luggage. Which ended up in our vehicle for our 4 days of business! THE STAR RATING FOR THIS HOTEL ON PRICE LINE SHOUKD BE...
