Staff was friendly and heped us booked some shows; excellent location - within walking distance to tourist sites
They are constructing the shaft for the elevators so you are awakened by noise at 830am and construction dust as you go down the staircase. I also do not like the additional charges when we checked out.
location was very good.
The lift was being replaced and therefore we had to walk to our room on the 2nd floor which was difficult for my partner as he is Asmatic. The dust from the works was also a problem as the stair rail was so dirty as were the stairs. At time we had to step over wires going down the stairs..A disappointing stay as the main reason we chose this was because it listed that it had an elevator!
The hotel's position, in the heart of the old town was very convenient for all the attractions of Prague. The staff were very considerate and kind. The breakfast was good but lacked variety. Saving grace of the hotel was the restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff very freindly.
The room 118 was constantly dusty and noisy due to the building work along the corridoor. The shower door was broken off it's rail which could pose a hazard to a child. No ani-slip mats were provided, making exiting the shower on to the tiled floor dangerous. The toilet door handle was missing leaving a sharp stump of steel protruding, again potentially dangerous for a child.
We liked the location of the hotel, the view over the roofs of Prague and the rooms in the suit. Breakfast was ok with choice of bread and cereals. Staff were nice and helpfull.
It was being re-built at the time which meant dust, noise and no elevators. But we knew that beforehand and it was not very disturbing anyway. The kitchen was invaded by ants and the few cooking utensils that were there were visibly unclean although put in the cupboards. This meant we did not use the kitchen at all. The floors were not very clean either. Of course some fresh vegetables and/or fruits would have improved breakfast.
