Pros:The apartment was well equipped and the beds were comfy, even the sofa bed. The pool and the hot jacuzzi were brilliant and stay open until 10pm. The apartment was very much a part of this complex where there are daily activities and you can borrow bicycles for 2 hours for free. In Princeville you are in the north of the Island where there are frequent clouds because of the mountains and rain sometimes which is refreshing & makes land very green. There are lovely beaches but few where you can swim freely although Hannalei is close and swimmable most times and there is a cheap supermarket , and a more expensive health food store for organics there. Our favourite place was Kee beach, but its hard to park sometimes and not always swimmable. If you go to Kauai do the Nepauli coast trip, we went with Hohohono who were great, and the helicopter tours which although some miles away from here are so worth the drive and expense.
Cons:The wild chickens were very noisy in the morning, There were some small knats in the evening.
Pros:Everything was well placed. If I have anything to complain that is the wild rosters call up very early in the morning. But from cities' travelers, the rosters sound can be very fresh and relax.
Pros:Spacious apartment-like room. Very friendly staff. In a good location in Princeville amongst many of the big name resorts.
Cons:My room was a little musty, which took some getting used to everytime I came back in. Also, because I only stayed there three days, I did not have any maid service since my stay was too short. The decor is a little outdated and could be redone.

Cons:Stay on the top floor if possible. Ceilings/floors are thin and you can easily hear people walking above you when staying on the lower floors.
Pros:We loved our stay at the Makai Club Resort! Our 2 bedroom suite was enormous with huge, comfortable beds, full size kitchen, living room and dining room. The room was clean and perfect for our stay! The staff was super friendly and helpful and full of aloha. We will definitely be going back to the Makai on our next visit to Kauai!
Pros:Friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness of condo and grounds. Availability of amenities if needed. Lovely AWA quiet environment. Appreciated the privacy and security. Overall experience: A++!
