The Gradlon Hotel was originally an early nineteenth century coaching inn, which was converted into a hotel in 1954, and renovated in 2007. The Gradlon is situated in Quimper's centre, just 500 metres from bars, restaurants, boutiques, and the cathedral. The 20 guestrooms have simple decor with yellow, blue or peach wallpaper and matching curtains. All guestrooms have direct dial phones, complimentary wireless Internet, satellite television and bathrooms with showers and hair dryers. Guests can relax in an armchair in the lounge, which has a real log fire, or unwind in the bar with a drink. A continental breakfast is available in the breakfast room or on the veranda or flowered patio. A safe deposit box service is available at the front desk, and the hotel has a meeting room suitable for small groups. For those interested in sightseeing, wireless Internet access is available for planning an itinerary, and garage parking is on offer for those arriving by car. There is plenty to do in the immediate vicinity, with medieval houses, cobbled streets, boutiques, creperies and restaurants nearby. All of these attractions, as well as the local museum, fine arts museum, St Corentin Cathedral and a pottery workshop can be found within one kilometre. Quimper Pluguffan Airport is approximately 10 kilometres and a 15 minute drive from the hotel.
