The car was small and fun to drive.

Cons:

The car was small and we could barely fit our camping gear in it. The check engine/oil change light was on from the time we picked it up (obviously I didn't go get an oil change on my vacation) to the time we dropped it off. The tire pressure was low and the car needed its tires rotated as the steering wheel would vibrate at any speed above 45 mph. Overall I was okay with the price but was anxious the entire time driving the car that I would be charged in excess for preexiting conditions...

The low price.

Cons:

The agent was not at the desk when I got there. A neighboring car agent had to text her to call her back to the airport. Waited 20 minutes to get service. Then, I went out to my car and found it was a tiny economy car (Ford Fiesta) when I ordered a compact car (“Ford Focus or similar). When I went back to desk to change cars it was now 6:03pm, and she was gone with everything locked up and closed. Had she been there when I arrived for my reservation there would have been time to deal with it. Instead I was forced to drive that tin can car for an 11 hour trip, and felt unsafe. The car had horrible seat stains and generally not clean. So basically everything could have been better about the experience except the price.

They upgraded me to a Jeep Cherokee! Very friendly staff, super efficient in getting the rental car, will use again

Pros:

Pickup easy and helpful. The bad was that I WAS NOT told that there was to be a $100 one way fee. I was not told until I dropped off the vehicle. I am very upset over the whole situation.

Cons:

To have been told before hand. I rented the car for a total of about 3 hours of driving to find out that I would have an additional $100 fee added for one way which I told them I was going one way BUT THEY didn't tell me of the additional fee. I will NEVER rent from them again!

Friendly staff and super helpful

Cons:

There was NO ice/snow scrapper. We rented a car in Bend, Oregon in winter. The second day there was a snow storm. The front wheel drive and all season tires served us well but I was disappointed to not find any sort of ice/snow scrapper in the car. I purchased one and left it in the car.

Cons:

We reserved an SUV, but when we arrived they didn't have any SUVs. We got a pick up truck. It was raining. Not ideal for our suitcases. They told us to call the Bend office in the morning to get an SUV in Bend (45 min from our house), but when we called, they didn't have any either. So, we were stuck with the truck. Luckily, the weather worked with us, and it wasn't a fiasco. No discount offered.

The staff at Enterprise was great… personable and efficient! The phone calls to confirm reservation and information about rental was additional, positive, customer service. I wasn’t too happy about the cost of renting, but I know my options were limited and renting a large vehicle was necessary ( my only option ). I would hope Enterprise might send a coupon voucher to use for future rental reservation.

Drop off super easy because it’s such a small airport

Cons:

First, it was MY mistake by reserving a car at the OFF AIRPOT enterprise. The ON AIRPORT enterprise clerk was no help at all. Wouldnt call the offsite spot for us, wouldnt help us get a ride (Redmond has no shuttles) to the offsite location, looked at his cell phone while we talked to him instead of looking at us (and didnt even pretend) to care. Crummy attitude. If I were his boss I’d fire him.

I was able to choose the exact car I wanted and was even able to reserve a cooler and boogie board to use for the week. The car was in like-new condition. The free shuttle was convenient, fast and the drivers were nice. The location was a little bit further from the airport, but it wasn't a problem.

It was the first time we rented via Turo, so I don't have a good base reference to compare in general, and can only compare to car rental experiences with commercial fleets (like Budget or Enterprise). In general it was okay -- we made it to where we were going and back, with no major issues. It's doable. However, there were some "surprises" where things didn't quite got as we expected: * We made rental reservation with expectation that we're picking up at the airport. When we got there, it turned out that the car is not at the airport, and the address given to us turned out to be what seemed to be Portland's airport Fire Rescue Tower (where, obviously, we can't even walk to or be at). We called the owner, and turned out that the car is at some house that's "not far" from the airport, and gave us new address. So additional expense of taking Uber/Lyft to get to the car (and apparently that address exists in two neighboring towns, and somehow Uber/Lyft took us first to the wrong one, so we had to take another ride, but that's not a Turo issue, just more expense as a consequence of car not being at the airport as promised). * When we got there, we called the owner to get the keys: "-- Keys are under front door's floormat. -- Nope, they're not there. -- Then try mailbox? -- Yes, they're there." The owner wasn't there, which is okay to do this all remote, but would be nicer if owner was in general "on top of things" such as where the car is and where it is expected to be picked up, where exactly are its keys, etc. * Then owner requested that prior to return we take the car to be washed and cleaned inside and out. We neither planned on looking for car detailing places in Portland, nor for time that it would take away from sightseeing, nor for extra substantial expense it would be. We pushed back and the owner backed off saying that he'll let it go due to confusion with pickup location (and apparently he didn't send some email that he was supposed to send, or something along those lines). * And while the car wasn't too dirty, it wasn't clean to begin with (which made detailing request that more amusingly odd). Crumbs on floor and seats and luggage compartment. Worst part was that windshield was dirty on the inside that was minor unpleasant at daytime, but as driving progressed into night time, it was quite significant as it was blurring lights and affected visibility substantially. * We also added additional driver thru Turo and let the owner know. The owner requested that we send him picture of drivers license directly to him. We refused (as it didn't seem right, given that Turo is the one that manages that aspect) and he backed off. * Of course, additional expense of Uber/Lyft after return drop-off as we weren't dropping it off at the airport as originally planned. So all in all we probably spent additional $50-60 in Uber/Lyft for getting to and from cars location instead of it being in the airport, and lost about 3+ hours for dealing with additional unplanned travel. The rest was okay. Car drove fine and didn't give any problems.
