Finally a decent hotel breakfast. Real oj and decent bagels . I really liked the oatmeal and there was always good coffee and hot chocolate available. Fireplace in the dining area made it quite pleasant.

Nothing

All around pleasant ,clean and friendly atmosphere. It was not in the most scenic spot. It's a commercial area but plenty close to the lovely mountains.

The staff at the front desk was exceptionally rude when we checked in. The rooms are dated and unclean - our shower had black mold on the ceiling. While the campiness of the "holidome" (an inside pool and arcade located in the middle of the hotel that looks like it dates back to the fifties) was amusing, it did not make for the best view outside of our hotel window. Many of the rooms, like ours, had a view of the inside "dome"/courtyard and absolutely no natural light. The hotel was under renovation, which meant much of it was unusable and the parking lot had a pile of old toilets and dressers (like the furnishings still in our room) in the corner. Absolutely ridiculous that this place is $200/night - we would have been better off staying at the SuperLodge down the street. Then at least we'd only be paying $70/night for what I can assume is the same quality of stay.

The ice machine was decent. The desk staff was helpful.

The rate of--- a night is ridiculous. Worth--- a night, if that. The room carpet was DISGUSTINGLY filthy. The whole place is outdated and worn. Water dripping from the the room above, out of the heat lamp in our bathroom. Keycard very finicky.

This place is a dump and they have some set of stones charging--- a night. It is being renovated, but nothing has been completed that would benefit a guest in any manner. The Bar/Restauraunt is a joke. The bar doesn't even have running water and seats five. One of those prefab units you MIGHT put in your basement. Restaurant also pathetic, looks like a rec room in an old folks home from the 70's. Ordered room service. The turn time was quick, but the food was regrettable. Pet friendly and it shows. There may even be people actually living here. Seems like a welfare hotel. A relative also staying there was admonished for smoking too close to the building!...

Location was convenient right off the thruway.

Very old building and in bad condition. Room toilet wouldn't flush first night we were there and front desk guy 'fixed' by lifting flapper and we had to fix toilet ourselves after that. Room smelled like smoke and lots of mystery stains on bedspreads.

A lot of money for a rough condition motel. Breakfast was ok and front desk people were friendly but you can do better by staying at another motel.

If you're staying up by Rhinebeck, Kingston, Saugerties this is a no brainer place to stay. It's very clean, and the staff is fantastic. The pool is small, but indoors. The hotel is in a shopping area which can be really useful if your forgot a bathing suit. There's a Target and JC Penney within walking distance.

The Bistro has microwaveable food and Starbucks coffee in pump carafes. The food isn't terribly good, but there are many, many other options outside the hotel. The view from your room can be less than inspiring especially if you're looking out at the dirt field waiting for construction of some kind. These are both very, very minor issues and shouldn't take away from how clean, efficient and well located this hotel is.

Rundown and not very clean, old Kleenex on bedroom floor. Peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. Terrible continental breakfast, sliced white bread in original wrapper, Cheerios and Fruit Loops only cereals, no yogurt.

location close to highway and to my destination; having coffee and muffin available (as well as cereal & toast)was convenient- coffee is a must!

smelled musty- needs a big dehumidifier; and the water is not very good- should have offered bottled water because it has a slight sulfur taste and is cloudy.

The owners were nice, check-in was simple and fast, the location is pleasant but the pool was not open although it looked like it could have been.

I booked this hotel for proximity to a work event, and because it looked like it would have more character than a chain.

Their communication with me was very misleading.

After booking, they emailed to say that there was a street festival that weekend that would limit parking by the hotel. I wrote saying I would be tired from my work event, and would the festival be over by my expected arrival on Sunday night? They said yes, it would. Sure enough, when I arrived the festival was still going on. I could not reach the hotel. I called, and they didn't answer (because of the festival, the recording said). I waited an hour at a filling station. They didn't call back. I asked a policeman when the street would reopen, as there was no other way to reach the hotel. I was told two hours at the earliest. I live a four hour drive away. I called the hotel again, got their desk guy, and informed him that I needed them to cancel my reservation and refund my money,...

We were placed near the stairs which was untolerably loud all night long, the walls were extremely thin which made horrible entertainment all night long, and when we asked to change rooms it took most the morning.

When our room was changed we were placed next to the other flight of stairs and the front desk was understaffed which resulted in the customer service representative crying.

quiet location. Clean but dumpy.

the bed was awful..better to have slept on the floor. We had to leave before our time was up because of this. Lots of stairs to climb to the room. The place needs fixing up esp. painting!

I am going to stick to chain hotels from now on! I was disappointed in the overall look of the hotel. It was shabby and not well taken care of. The grounds were not taken care of. The outside needed painting and fixing up to make it more comfortable to stay there. The lamp did not work in the room. There were ants running around in the room. The creamers left for the coffee were sour. The furniture was shabby. You have to climb 15 stairs to get to your room and the planks you have to walk over to get there were scary. You could see the ground underneath and you are high up on the second floor. I thought it would be nicer since I did research and it got mostly good reviews. Breakfast on Sat. was runny eggs, hockey puck sausages,& ...

Nice room. Good value for this market.

The bathroom needed some re-doing. The caulk had black mold and needed replacing. Towels were very thin and old.

Overall, it was fine for one night.

The clerks and management were friendly, but not invasive. Had good recommendations on what to do and where to go for sight seeing - outside of our family plans. Even though my family made arrangements on their own, they put us all in the same gen. area.

Nothing to dislike and the restaurant out front is incredibly good. Made me think I was living back in San Francisco - great Italian food.

Hotel is convenient to many areas, just off the freeway, but we were on the quiet side.

Prices are either the average per night price per room or first night of stay. You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
Please send us an email and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
