We arrived about an 2 hours early and Elousia allowed us to check into our room. She was helpful, delightful and made my life easier - she provided me with a hairdstlist which allowed me to make my nieces church on time. Thank you

There was big spiders in the hotel room and I am allergic to spiders I could have gotten bitten and I would be in the hospital .
When we checked in we were informed that there was no water in the hotel, and that they were not sure how long it would be until they had it fixed.
Hotel was clean and well-maintained. Staff was friendly and heelpful.

was a guest at the Holiday Inn Express in Rio Grande City on the nights of September 12th & 13th in room 206. What I was hoping to be a pleasant stay turned out to be a big disappointment. Shortly after arriving I took my wife and son to the pool. There were no towels available so we used the 3 towels that were in our room to dry off after a swim. The next morning before breakfast, I called housekeeping for fresh towels. The lady at the desk told me there was nobody there that could bring up towels. I didn?t know what that meant but didn?t think much of it. We used the towels we dried off with from the pool the day before to dry off after our morning showers. Not wanting to be around when housekeeping came to clean the rooms, we left the hotel to drive around. With the price of gasoline as high as it is, this was an inconvenience, but we felt necessary. Upon arriving back to the hotel at 11:00 am, we found our room was not clean, nor anything replenished such as towels or toiletries. I called the front desk again and was told that it would be cleaned at noon. So we left again, not wanting to be in the room for housekeeping to do their job. Upon arriving once again to an unclean room, we decided to stay there until 3:00 pm when normal check-in begins. At 3:00pm we called down and were told that housekeeping was still cleaning rooms on that floor. We left once again, this time driving to McAllen to spend time and eat supper. At about 5:00 I called from my cell phone and the front desk said my room was indeed NOT cleaned and that housekeeping had gone home for the day. The lady at the desk said she would try to contact the housekeeper and see if she could come back to clean our room. When we returned to our room at about 8:00 pm, seeing our room had not been clean yet, I called down again. The lady said she would try to contact the manager so I could explain the problem. She was not able to reach him, and I was not able to express my dissatisfaction. She did however...
