OK for a small town.
Had a smoke smell to it even thought it's a non-smoking room.
i liked that you have inside doors to each room. Especially when traveling alone. it feels safe. I like that you had a laundromat , free breakfast . and internet. The staff , was extremely helpful as i had never been to Rockdale before.
no elevator. It seemed a little vulnerable that the front doors to the building stayed open all night.
Clean, peaceful and very friendly staff.
Room was nice and appeared clean. Bathroom was very nice.
Breakfast area was too small. Food appeared cheap and unappealing. Stairs were dirty and needed vacuuming.
Met our needs.
Charged me more when I asked for two beds.
This hotel was very quiet. Everyone was very friendly. The room was very clean.
It was somewhat difficult to speak with the housekeepers, since they didn't seem to.speak English. The breakfast offered wasn't the greatest and the hours for breakfast were only until 9am.
Room was clean!
The manager of there was horrible!
the rates were great and the rooms were large.
The lobby looks clean and nice.
Breakfast could be better.
Nice room, great price & good location
Breakfast ended at 9AM instead of 10AM like it use too
Room was clean and staff was friendly
The outside of the hotel was covered in crickets which produced an unpleasant odor. The breakfast could have been better. They were out of biscuits by 6:30 and the apple juice was room temperature.
it appears to be nearly new. everything worked well and was very much like it was advertised.
big list here. the hotel is located very close to an active railroad, which disturbs your sleep. close to a highway but the access to the hotel isnt easy. taking my luggage to the second floor took 3 trips since there is no elevator for the luggage cart
A/C QUIT 4 IN MORNING..GOT UP ALL SWEATY...TOILET WOULDN'T FLUSH, AND THEN NO WATER FOR SHOWER EITHER....HORRIBLE!!! CAN I PLEASE HAVE A REFUND.......SAM DAVIS
Public space was clean and inviting
Hotel had a funny smell, the ac in the public area was poor and the door lock was broken on the original room I was assigned.
Room was very comfortable.
Breakfast food was horrible. Hard biscuits, greasy sausage, chunky gravy. Gross!
room was nice. . . space was excellent. Staff was good.
It was 1 1/2 hours away from where we requested and needed to stay. Priceline's acceptance on price didnt allow us to see the area where the motel was. when we accepted the deal, we werent aware of the distance from where we needed to be. BAD BAD BAD
The rooms were nicely decorated and clean.
Breakfast (served 6-10AM) was HORRIBLE! We got down there at 7AM & everything was gone....no milk, coffee, muffins, pastries, bread, etc. I had to find a front desk attendant to refill things. There was NOTHING hot to eat except a toasted bagel!
Our travel to Rockdale is work related. The Days Inn is a fair value for the area and offers comfort while working.
This hotel was attractively inviting in the reception area. Unfortunately it was disappointing when I entered my room. The walls were not only dirty but had stains that ran from mid wall to the floor. The beds were squeaky, the refrigerator dirty, floor was terribly stained and the room had an odor. I went and bought Fabreeze and actually used an entire bottle during my 24 hours at this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was quite embarrassed since I had other family members staying there because I had suggested we stay there.
the exterior, entryway, and hallway appeared nicely decorated and painted. Unfortunately, there were roaches in our room, filth on the walls, desperately needed painting, and the refrigerator kept falling out of the cabinet it was installed in. I was somewhat embarrassed as there were 3 families staying there at my suggestion. I will not stay there again.
We stayed one night during the Christmas holidays and found this to be a very comfortable and clean hotel. Note that this is a very new hotel with a great breakfast and a courteous and helpful hotel manager as well. Be aware that there's not an elevator in this building. If you have a lot of luggage, ask for a first floor room. Enjoy!
