The Hotel De La Cite is conveniently located in a quiet back street within the fortified old \citadelle\of St. Malo, near the Porte St-Thomas. The bathrooms are medium in size and in very good condition. The hotel does not have a restaurant but clients can dine at the nearby sister hotel, De France & De Chateaubriand. The hotel is a traditional building that was built in 1990 following the example of the surrounding architecture of the ship-owners of the 18th century. The hall is small but welcoming.To the left of the rounded Reception desk clients can relax in a cosy sitting area, decorated with flowery settees, traditional furniture and period prints. The more modernly furnished corner situated to the right of the Reception faces the staircase leading up to the breakfast room.
