"With such an old-fashioned name, it’s not surprising this hotel isn’t fashionably modern. In fact, it’s downright conservative, with room furnishings and decor that try terribly to be tasteful but are in the end fairly dowdy. Rooms on the 2nd floor have higher ceilings, and more expensive ones have balconies that provide more light. Guests can access the internet (per hour US$2) from an old computer in the lobby, and there’s a travel agency on the 1st floor. It’s a short walk to the Malecón." read more on Lonely Planet
