Long Term Parking

Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport offers long and short term parking. New construction has begun on a four level, $32 million parking garage for the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. This new state of the art parking garage will be built over the old Short Term Parking Lot, and thus the Short Term Parking was closed at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport effective July 24, 2006. Customers parking at the Airport for more than 4 hours will have to park in the Long Term Parking Lot and take a shuttle to the Terminal Building. Shuttle wait time is estimated at 3 to 5 minutes. Airport personnel are stationed at the entrance to the lot, and throughout the lot to help customers locate available parking spaces and shuttle bus stops. During the busiest peak travel times the Long Term Parking Lot will become filled to capacity and customers will then be directed to overflow parking in the grass area adjacent to Long Term. The maximum daily rate for long term parking is $7, and the weekly rate is $35.

Discount Airport Parking

Discount short term parking is available at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. There is an Hourly Parking Lot with a 4 hour maximum and the parking rate is $1 for each half hour, with the first half hour free. The long term parking may a better discount alternative at $2 for ten minutes up to 3 hours and only $1 each additional hour. In addition to the Hourly Parking Lot, Savannah/Hilton Head International has recently opened a Cell Phone Lot. This Cell Phone Lot is always completely free. This paved lot is where drivers can wait in their vehicles for arriving passengers who call to be picked up in front of the Terminal. Drivers must stay with their vehicles at all times and like the short term lot there is a 4 hour maximum in the Cell Phone Lot. The Cell Phone Lot is the best discount parking available since it is absolutely free. There is also a Valet Parking area located at the Ticketing/Departure Level (Level Two) and here parking attendants unload luggage and park the car. This is a time-saving convenience that costs $12.00 per 24 hour period.

Handicapped Parking

Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport offers handicapped parking. There are many spaces for disabled and handicapped passengers. Oversized vehicles can also park here. The handicapped parking is located within close proximity to the airport.

Airport Hotel Parking

There are many hotels situated very close to the airport. Most hotels offer complimentary shuttle service. Oversized vehicles can park in most hotels.
