Capt Hiram’s Resort, in Sebastian, Florida is a unique riverside resort that even has its own sightseeing pontoon tour that sets sail from a dock right off the back of the hotel. The hotel is very kid-friendly and is close to a lot of family attractions.

This resort has 86 rooms that include superior rooms, mini suites, and premium rooms with river views. The décor of the hotel is very encompassing of the beach paradise it’s located in. Amenities in the rooms include climate control, coffeemakers, flatscreen TVs, balconies, refrigerators, free WiFi, and more. The hotel was built in 2000 and is split between three buildings.

There is a breakfast that is cooked per order every morning for a charge. The property has two restaurants, three bars on the beach, and a lounge inside. There are fresh seafood dishes made at Capt Hiram’s Resort restaurants. The food has a Caribbean flair to it. Much of the fish is taken straight from the water and cooked for your meal.

Capt Hiram’s Resort features live music at the beach. Guests can go tour the river on the River King, the hotel’s pontoon boat. There are a number of other attractions to go check out in the area, that include the North County Aquatic Center, Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge, the Florida Tech Challenge Course, and golf courses like Whisper Lakes Golf Course.

Capt Hiram’s Resort has a beautiful waterfront location right on the Indian River. This is a great place to take a family. It is also a good option for friends or couples who are wanting somewhere fun to get away to.
