The views are spectacular!
The restaurant was closed and nothing close by for food- Room we had in serious need of updating, countertops old and peeling back, room dark and dingy, TV didn't work, dirty wash cloths in shower
We loved the room, it was huge and luxurious. There was an amazing view of the river and the staff was amazing. there was also a great selection of DVDs that were complimentary and wood in the room for a toasty and romantic fire. We loved it.
Privacy... Surrounded by beauty. Great place for a low key honeymoon! The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable.
Can not say I didn't enjoy the stay however a mile marker would have helped at night, perhaps brighter or outlandish sign. Would recommend to arrive during the day.
The hotel is located right next to Oak Creek and only half a mile from Slide Rock State Park. Was soooo gorgeous! Truly Majestic surroundings and the wood fire places made us feel right at home.
The only thing about this hotel that I would have a slight complaint about would be the living room in our cabin could have used updating, but really it was just an amazing place to stay! We stayed as a couple, but it would be great for families too!
Very cozy mountain cabin complete with rock faced fireplace. Wood delivered daily. Two balconies overlooking the creek and surrounded by trees.
This unit needed better lighting.
The location is beautiful, the rooms are tastefully decorated and it is quiet. The staff was helpful when there were questions. This location is a little north of downtown Sedona and a short trip to Flagstaff where we headed on the way to the Grand Can.
They were working on a new t.v. system and there were kinks so had some problems when we wanted to watch t.v., but that's not what anyone should be doing in Sedona. Didn't bother to tell them until checkout since no big deal
This place exceeded all expectations. It was basically a full home and not just a room like every other hotel/resort offers. Looking out of our patio was like something from a dream. The beautiful creek and mountain side right in our back yard.
I'm sure they can afford to upgrade to flat screen tv's and not settle for the old bulky ones that they have.
The rooms were nice but the heaters did not work well nor the fire place in the master bedroom. The view was nice snowed in Aprol quite a surprise!
Went on a Birthday getaway, this was the best place I found online and I was not disappointed at all !!! Lots of help finding things to do in Sedona and the Cafe/restaurant was delightful as well. Great views and relaxing environment. Wish I could live in this resort.
During a hot, busy, July 4th weekend in Sedona, we stayed at Junepine Resort, up a canyon road from city center. Although it is several miles from town, the cooler, mountainous air was worth it! While the weather was stifling downtown, we could sit outside on our expansive patio and enjoy tall pines and beautiful views of...a canyon with trees and rushing water in the bottom. We could not see another house or resort or building of any kind, and it was a real nice change. We had privacy, a restaurant on premises, and no light pollution...we took our telescope out every night. We would highly recommend this resort to those who want quiet, beautiful scenery, in first class accommodations. The units are large, modern, and well cared for.
My family and I stayed at Junipine..we found it as we were driving through Sedona. We loved walking down by the creek. The view is beautiful and the price isnt bad either.
Planned 3 nights in the Sedona area on a recent family vacation to AZ. Junipine is north of town about 10 mins - but the ride is spectacular. The units are condos and have plenty of room for a family to spread out. On our first night, we discovered mice - the management moved us to another unit for the remainder of the stay. The location is very nice, on the banks of Oak Creek and at the base of the mountains. We spent hours just relaxing on the deck listening to the birds and enjoying the warm weather. Try the Arizona ATV Adventures during your stay - GREAT! I would also highly recommend the restaurant, Elote in Sedona.
Our condo had two fireplaces in it. We tested the flues to see if they were open and started small fires. The fireplaces belching out thick smoke, and we spent the greater part of our evening trying to air out the place. When we contacted the the desk, they said they had problems with the bedroom fireplace. In spite of this, there was no note warning visitors to avoid using the fireplace. We had to move burning wood from the bedroom to the living room to get it to a fireplace with an adequate draw so that we could breathe. There was no offer to move us to a safe room. Finally, we settled in to watch a family movie, but neither the DVD player in the bedroom or the living room worked. When we talked to staff about these problems they were cold and unapologetic. They made no attempt to compensate us for our ruined family reunion, they did not adjust the hefty $350.00 price of the room for a single evening and even charged us for a bottle of water during our conversation! On top of this, service was very slow in the restaurant.
