This budget hotel chain is highly recommended and presents excellent value for money for the budget conscious. It is situated in an exciting part of Singapore that provides a glimpse into the local flavor of the island. sg 08/06 The hotel exterior is modern and blends in with the surrounding residential building. The building is in excellent condition and looks almost new. Located within the suburb of Geylang, though this area is the officially designated red-light district, it does not have a sleazy image. Families and couples come here for its good food and fruit shops. Walking down the streets is as safe as any part of Singapore. This is as close as you can get to the alternative side of Singapore.
