Location. Close to the enterance of Zion National Park.Nice Hotel, room was clean. Quite. Staff was helpful.
Great location, recently remodeled - nice place
Parking was VERY tight. Luckily we have a small compact car.
The staff was freindly, the price was just right, the location was fabulous, and the room was clean and cozy with everything that we needed.
pillows too small and not supportive. No king beds available. We would definitely stay at the Pioneer again. Had a great time, even though Zion park was so packed there was no place to park and get out of the car to do hiking. The hotel was very comfortable and in the middle of town/everything (shopping, restaurants, etc.) Wish we would have had time to go back, take the shuttle to hike and see the beautiful park a little closer.
The room was clean. The location was excellent.
The hotel is outdated. The location is very good. While the hotel and rooms are outdated it was mostly clean.
Location - just a couple of minutes driving to the entrance of the Park. The staff was nice and the restaurant was pretty good.
NoneThis is a 2 star motel but the guests seemed to be all well behaving so no problem whatsoever. Maybe the noisy kind doesn't like places like NP so it works for me perfectly. Staying in the park lodge has its own beauty but this is not a bad choice considering all the options the town has to offer. Next time you visit Zion, don't hesitate to book in Pioneer or any other place in Springdale.
The location was great.
The light fixtures were full of insect carcasses. The exhaust fan grills hadn't been cleaned in years they were full of crud. The top edge between the bath enclosure and the wall was dirty. I stayed in two separate rooms both rooms had the same problems. We stayed here twice and extended one day extra the second stay. I named my own price and was fine with that. However, this is not a 3 star hotel/motel. One block away was a major chain hotel and the rate was twice the rate of the Pioneer but the chain property was new comparatively and was rated 2 1/2 stars. I don't get it. What makes a place clean is not being done at the Pioneer any more. Deep cleaning is not being done and on our first night the king size bed was like sleeping in a hammock. The mattress was SHOT. I mean it was done. It should have been replaced years ago. My wife and I awoke with back aches. It was a good thing we could hike a little to get our spines ba...
The room was large and comfortable. I highly recommend the coffee shop . The hot chocolate, bagels and Big cookies were wondeeful.
It was quite noisy from outside and from nearby rooms. It's a wonderful hotel and a great value.
The hotel charged me for getting 2 beds instead of 1. I've never had that experience in 30 years of traveling
Close to Zion National Park
Not a three star accomodation. Priceline books you into the 'handicap' room. It's dark, under a stairwell. Very noisy. There are two commercial refrigeration units, with exhaust fans venting in front of the room. Outside the room is a smoking area.A bit of a dump. Tattered carpet. Staff would only switch rooms for additional fees or 'just one' positive review. These people degrade the value of priceline and on-line reviews. Not to be trusted!
Zion and town of Springdale.
I bid 2.5 stars to avoid this below grade 3 star deception. The hotel sticks you in a sub standard room and asks you to pay for an upgrade. They seem to accept positive reviews instead of cash. Noise from kitchen roof, noise from refrigerator vents.Deceptive business practices. Restraunt supply truck pulled in at 6:15 am and ran engine for 30 minutes. Large group partied in outside until way past 10 pm. Outdoor carpets torn and stained.
