We chose this inn because past reviews stated it was "clean". We found this to be true. Walkable distance to downtown stroudberg with plenty of restaurants, pubs, shops.
Smoking outside the main entrance. Stinky.
Rooms should have individual thermostats. Was up most of the night adjusting temperature as it was either too hot or too cold
Disappointed in room for cost. Paper thin walls had to change rooms for noise. Continental breakfast was horrible. Ammenedies poor
My son threw up all over the bed and the staff was very friendly and addressed the issues immediately. Everyday the staff was nice to my family and son.
We loved the convienient location. All we had to do was walk a block up to get to a bunch of bars and shops. It was about 10-20 min drive from many outdoor activities. We enjoyed that breakfast was included. While not a luxury hotel, it was very clean and the staff at the front desk was always very friendly and eager to help.
None of the Tvs were working during our stay due to a cable issue so that was a huge problem. Also the woman who worked the breakfast buffet was extremely rude and made us feel very uncomfortable while trying to eat. She would stand next to us and stare as we got out food. The one day we got there about half hour before breakfast was supposed to end and she started aggressively yanking out all the plugs of the appliances right out from under us as we were trying to use them. Last, I felt that the pricing was a little high for the quality of the stay. Overall We would definitely stay here again though!
