The hotel is very quiet and has plenty great lighted parking spots with view from your room. I enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning. Rooms were clean, nice white and bright linens. A mini fridge and microwave adds to making this a great hotel stay!
Nothing...everything was great!
The staff definately surpassed our expectations. We couldn't have had a better experience if we had stayed in a 5 star hotel! We will definately consider staying there again.
Everything was fine.
Everyone was friendly and the staff provided everything that I needed!
there was no hot tub!
The majority of everthing was good.
humidifer was loud and did not refresh room. 3rd floor hallway had a mold like smell. previously always on 1st floor and could not smell the hallway odor; probably due to the pool chlorine.
Staff was spot-on with service, friendly, and bent over backwards to meet our needs.
Room on freeway side had a bit of traffic noise.
The rooms have dehumidifiers in them. That was a very nice touch. Controlling humidity along the Gulf Coast is super helpful. The beds were comfy and the complimentary breakfast was nice.
We had an issue with maintenance regarding a stopped up toilet but when the management realized there was a problem, they took care of it. I truly believe it was an oversight.
Friendly staff. Clean.
Breakfast wasn't great, just OK. Bathroom had a leak from ceiling vent. We could hear every movement from the room above.
The staff was great super nice and professional.
All was good
Cheapest in the area
My room was not made up. They brought towels but didn't make up the beds. Guess the maids have better things to do than their job.
Arrived late night was greeted and checked in with in a couple of min. Had a early morning and breakfast was ready before the start time which allowed us to have breakfast before beginning are days.
small pool and broken weight bench (could not use)
Not enough cable channels.
Good price, would not have paid any more for it than I did.
The free breakfast was terrible, but it was free. One of the beds looked like the sheets were dirty, and did not have any shampoo in the room.
Coffee in the lobby. staff were friendly.
There was a few hairs that didn't belong to myself or my spouse in the bed when we turned back the covers. We were tired so we chalked it up to maids not tieing their hair back. Carpet seemed to have seen better days.
If you are traveling for business, do NOT stay at this hotel. Here is why.... 1.) The wireless internet is terrible. The signal gets dropped randomly as signal strength fluctuates. I could not rely on the connection to do my job. I am a network engineer, so this isn't about me not understanding how to connect. 2.) The beds are hard as a rock, and very bouncy. When you lie down, it pushes back. Some people like this, so this is not always a bad thing. I like soft comfortable beds, so these are terrible. I woke up with neck and back pains each morning I was there. I slept in my chair one night, and almost opted for the floor. 3.) Showers are small, and have very nominal water pressure, even in non-peak water usage times. 4.) The hotel is older, and very rundown compared to other Fairfields. 5.) For a * or more per night, it should be way better. The very nice casino in Lake Charles is also * per night during the week. The good.... 1.) It is right off I-10, so easy in and out. 2.) Breakfast is free, and good. 3.) Waffle House next door, and a Sonic a block away. 4.) Nice pool and hot tub.
