This inn needs a lot a work. My towel had rust stains. The toilet needs work. You have to have lever in a specific location or it will not flush. The AC made a loud noise like a generator. The light switches have never been wiped down. Dirty switches. Mildew on the shower curtain. They provide a Keurig coffee maker but provide 1 k cup. The table had dried food stains. The stairs to the second flood weren't spaced out evenly. My wife was unable to climb stairs. My friend had another room. The rooms are supposed to be non smoking room. He opened his door the smoke smelled came outside which I was able to smell without entering the room. His room had stains on the walls. They lost his reservation so he found another hotel. This hotel called later that evening asked him about his reservation and charged him for the room even though he already found another hotel. I would not recommend this hotel. I have post some pictures on Yelp. The worst accommodations I have ever stayed at. After I posted my review on Yelp, I read other reviews for this Rodeway Inn. I wasn't the only person that wasn't satisfied about this facility. I have emailed Choice Hotels on my dissatisfaction about this Rodeway Inn. Suggesting that they either inspect or audit this facility.
Bathroom counter was dirty, overall room was rundown and old. Bathroom door didn't shut easily. Morning front desk staff were not friendly. Even for a budget-friendly establishment, this place was quite sub-par.
Service was horrible, the worst I've ever received anywhere. Multiple items didn't work UNSATISFACTORY
Unbeatable price for a location in the heart of old town. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars, antique stores, and even a huge farmers' market. Keurig in-room coffee maker was a nice touch, although we had to ask several times for a second pod as they only put one per room for some reason. Free wi-fi and free parking.
Staff could be a little more welcoming. I wish the pool and hot tub had looked cleaner; I did not use either because they looked a little gross (although many families went swimming in the pool so maybe I am just picky). Continental breakfast is reeeeaaaallly limited. Like powdered OJ and bagels still in their grocery bag, limited. Still a great value for the price though-this hotel was $50-$100 less than others in town.
Location, size, price
nothing special just okay
The staff was awful. The guy at the counter took a long time to come to the desk when we arrived and we he left he was in the next room and he just yelled "checking out, just leave the keys on the desk". The room was dirty, their was a hair on the sink, and a hair in the tub and it looked like the tub had not been cleaned. The breakfast in the morning consisted of a bag of bagels from the grocery store and some juice and water. I got a cup of water and it tasted horrible, like they got it from the toilet.
