My flight was delayed by many hours. I was not able to get to the Thrifty counter before it closed. Although I kept Thrifty apprised of these delays thruout the evening, they still have not honored my request for a full refund. I will need to contact my credit card company to deal with this.

I paid - in response to a Thrifty unsolicited email offer - to skip the counter and go straight to the car. That did not happen at pickup. I had to wait for 2 customers ahead of us. Now I was 20 +/- minutes early because the flight was early. Thrifty msgs and announcements claimed they would track delayed flights and hold rentals open. Seems like that is doable and should be done for early flights. Either that or email the details for direct-to-the car folks more than 30 minutes before car reservation time.

Slow check in I was charged one additional day because of only two hours, despite that they initially offered not ti do it The google map link of the drop off location was wrong

Terrible. Don’t use them. They jacked up the price every way possible. They also wouldn’t honor the price booked online. Then they thought it funny to stick me with a 9 seater van instead of mid size sedan. Then they charged me more again. Also all agents were actively misrepresenting how fuel worked tricking people into paying for a full tank. It is shyster scam level stuff. Do not rent from them.

Need more staff, at both pickup and drop off only 1 person was working making the wait time at least an hour for both.

Staff was very nice. Car was very new & rode nice & smooth. The only things that were not up to par was that there were no notes in Thrifty’s system about existing dents & scratches so we had to meticulously go over the car for any damage before leaving the lot. And the exterior of the car was not fully cleaned. Bugs on windshield & nose of car. Interior was very clean.
