When we arrived they told us they didn't have the size vehicle we had reserved and confirmed. We had to cancel the reservation and find a new company which didn't have what we needed, ended up driving a jump 15 passenger van instead of a mini van and had to pay more money.

No car available upon arrival . I was told it would be at least a 2 hour wait. I had an event to be at so I had to get a vehicle from another company.

Got a last minute rental with Thrifty as our flights were cancelled due to a blizzard. They were super helpful, very accommodating and reasonably priced.

This location is an absolute nightmare. Read Google reviews all the same story. Bottom line you can’t rely on them to have a car for you when you get there. Doesn’t matter if you reserve well in advance and prepay. And when you finally get a car, I got mine with 16 percent gas left and the car reeked of marijuana. Do yourself a favor and do not rent from them.

The worst, front desk attendant didn’t take care of what I was requesting and in need at the moment. She just brought an impromptu rental policy by telling me that as I just booked the car then there was a 2 hours wait, otherwise, if urgent I must upgrade and pay a higher rate, twice the rate I was willing to pay for. I travel a lot, sometimes I have to react from one day to another, I don’t have too much time for planning, I have never experienced this before, in any airport. Just this time with Thrifty at San Antonio (SAT) airport. Ridiculous

The staff at the Thrifty car rental office were helpful. The car I rented was in the worst shape of any car I have ever rented from any rental company. There were numerous dents, scratches on the exterior and stains on the interior seats. There appeared to be two spare tires on the rental car.
