Pick up and drop off is simple, waiting time to get the car is too long.
Counter service was slow and awful. Advertised cars were not available. I was charged for insurance I didn't sign for. I was given EZ pass that I did not want. This was in total a very bad experience.
Everything was perfect thanks
The airport policy is to have a credit card. Kayak did not know that. I wasted my money to pay someone to take me to get the rental to be told I could not rent it. It would have been nice to know all facts and information in advance.
Very quick and easy pick up and drop off, which is exactly what I needed for this trip. Courteous and pleasant agents. At no extra cost, the issuing agent gave us a slightly bigger car in the same class as the one I’d ordered when he saw all our luggage!
They didn't honor the Ford Transit I'd reserved and instead offered me a minivan. I arrived at the counter and they told me if I wanted the car I reserved, I'd need to pay an ADDITIONAL $105 per day for an "upgrade." I showed them the email that identified that I had booked a Transit. They didn't care. The manager was extremely rude and ran off when I asked them to honor the original reservation. This was extremely disruptive because I'd a trip planned that included 9 passengers. I did NOT reserve a minivan, but a 12-passenger van because of this reason. I think potentially Kayak messed up this reservation (putting the transit as a preference not a requirement). However, my email confirmation said Transit. Either way i didn't get the car, my reservation was canceled, and I was left scrambling. That DCA Thrify location was the absolute worst customer experience I had ever had.
Bad instructions about pickup. The instructions received thru emails were misleading.
I did not get to rent a car. I need a refund.
