This resort is good for two things: if your looking for a low budget motel and dont want to go to hostel and want a motel in the downtown area then this place is for you.
This resort is good for two things: if your looking for a low budget motel and dont want to go to hostel and want a motel in the downtown area then this place is for you. The comfort of the room was good, had a nice big bed, tv and good bathroom facilities but the whole motel stank of smoke, everything comes in plastic cups and bowls and the b&b is well below average. The location of the motel is fair also because there are prostitutes outside and there are so many beggers who ask for your money. This motel is situated in a very bad area of Toronto so if your a female solo traveller and walking around at night, its best to catch a cab back to the motel, dont walk it. Each room also has holes, smelly heaters with some type of tunnel thing out of the window.. which means the windows always have vents (making it hard for heat!) and the neighbourhood/location of the hotel meant you can hear every car and prostitute walking around the hotel. So not great sleep either. Breakfast was fair also. Everything came in plastic cups or bowls and the variety was awful! They had 3 types of cornflakes, plain bagels, plain white toast with jam or marmalade, orange cordial juice and coffee or tea. No fruit, not hot food. Restaurant was very cosy too.
The bed was comfortable and the room clean. It was located not far from Downtown Yonge Street, and so was within an easy walking distance of most sites.
It's ashame that they don't have guest parking. The breakfast service - called continental consisted of toast and cereal, coffee, and juice. No croissants, bages, or muffins, or even fruit, which used to be considered part of the continental breakfast. For the price I paid for the room, I was expecting something more.
The bed was uncomfortable and someone was walking the floors all night long. The floors were noisy.
They had a room with the facilities we were looking for
Clean room, good price and location, friendly staffwish it was a little closer to my convention, would have liked a better view
