Pros:We've stayed at Sunset Vistas for 10 years in a row. It's the perfect place for families, as all rooms have a full kitchen and laundry. So we're able to have breakfast in the room, prepare a lunch for the pool, and then eat out at night. Plus, you can SEE the Gulf from every room, and the beach is just steps away.
Cons:Nothing I didn't like. Just a few hints: 1. Bring bungee cords. We string them between porch railings and use them to hang our wet clothes and towels. 2. Bring a little laundry soap. They sell it it. But how hard is it to bring a small bottle? 3. The kitchen accouterments can be hit or miss. For example, this time, we had one frying pan. And a cheese grater.
Pros:We've stayed at the Sunset Vistas for the past eight years. If you're looking for a luxury resort, this isn't it. Instead, it's a great place for families. With a full kitchen, you never HAVE to go out to eat. (If nothing else, you can save yourself the trouble of packing up the kids and going out for breakfast.) With a washer and dryer in each room, you can under-pack, and do a load of laundry in the middle of your stay. It's a stone's throw from the ocean. And the staff is ALWAYS courteous and helpful.
Pros:Love the location and the friendly staff.... They worked hard to accommodate all of our needs. Loved the pool and jacuzzi!!! Thank you.
Cons:Some of the silverware was very worn or slightly rusted so it needed to be changed out. The shower chair was slightly molded on the legs and should've changed out.
