Clarion Collection Hotel Aurora is located centrally, yet still quiet in the heart of Tromso, the capital of Northern Norway. From its delicate seaside location, the hotel looks out across the harbour area, the sea, Ishavkatedralen - The artic Cathedral - and the Tromso bridge. With our compliments is our famous breakfast buffet that has been receiving raving reviews. The hotel is within walking distance of theatres, shopping and business districts. Children 12 and under stay free if sharing room with parents or grandparents when no extra bedding is required. Parking limit: Parking is on street. Please note that all Choice hotels in Scandinavia are 100% non-smoking properties. Pet charge: 200 kr per stay.
Great location for the Centre. SAS Flybus stops at the Radisson which is approx 100 metres away so you can catch the Flybus from the Airport which is only 50NOK instead of using a taxi. Early return to Airport at 5.40am to allow the early return flights. Very Clean, lovely view of the Harbour, Bridge and Mountain. Take your Swimming gear for the Outdoors Jaccuzi! Easy Access to the university, bus 20 and 21.
The room was comfortable, the breakfast great and the rooftop hottub was lots of fun. Even got to see Northern lights from up there!
The hotel was crowded and so was the hot tub. Did not get to use it as often as we would have liked too.
very closed to the city center and was easily accessible of all amenities
outside of the hotels were very dirty, untidy. there were cigarettes buts all over the floor. i also did not like outside our rooms there were plenty of new matteress which was quite dangerous, anybody could have tripped and injured themselves.need more cleanliness outside the hotel, and also needs gritting as it was very slippery. i had a near fall.
Great breakfasts & location
Comfy bed, close to town/restaurants. Outdoor spa pool on the top floor was an added bonus. Free internet access at reception.
Nice to have a Sony Bravia telly, what a shame they used an rf cable to connect it to the wall. Lousy picture - what a waste!!
