Everything good except for the 1 1/2 hour wait for picking up the car it was ridiculous it was like 3:00 am also dropping off was annoying hassle you need more employees if your going to have over 40 people waiting on line with only 1 employee

When we checked in at the end of our rental, we were given the quick printout that applied to another car and driver. We did not discover this until after we had gone through airport security and were waiting for our flight.

People were nice. First car had broken mirror so had to register for second car. That had a broken headrest (and, we later discovered, no windshield washer fluid). They were not willing to comp us part of the rental, just off a discount on our next rental at their location (which would have expired by the next time we would be likely to get to Tucson

Cons:

The rental agency entered the wrong time for return, am vs pm... Also did not have available the car class booked, a Toyota Corolla vs the requested VW Jetta, a standard rental vs a compact rental, still charged as a standard rental did not even mention they didn't have the proper car. Just a disappointing rental in general, even if the car was nice, it was not what was booked.

Horrible. Wasn’t clear in the reservation that we’d get an electric car. Was only charged 77% when we got it. Can was smelling of smoke and had scratches all over the place. Chip in the window. Had to park it and get a software update for 1 1/2 hours in order for it to charge. Then had it charge for 12 hours k my to get 80% charge . Aweful. I will never rent and electric car again, and will avoid dollar/thrifty/hertz whenever possible. If they try to stick my with any damage on this car I will see them in court.

Free upgrade due to longer wait in line and a free trade when the upgraded car did not meet our needs.

Cons:

I had to wait to give my keys to someone for drop off and let them know I had a full tank. I think they could do a more automated drop off.

Well for starters when you rent a car from a 3rd party site apparently they don’t tell you about all of the charges. That’s how they make it seem so cheap. Then when I got the car shortly there after I got a flat tire not a huge deal except that I waited on hold with roadside assistance for over an hour trying to get to talk to anyone and never got through. At the same time my fiancé was calling every enterprise (because dollar and enterprise are the same thing apparently) and all of the stores went straight to voicemail. Finally we gave up and I put the donut on (can’t even get a full-size spare) and drove back to the location that I got the car and had to swap it out for another one. This put a solid 4 hour delay in an already very very long trip with a temperamental 4 year old in the backseat. Then when I returned the car I got hit with an extra $80 in taxes and fees which according to the first receipt I had already paid. And to top it off I still haven’t gotten my security hold back...

I had to travel 30 miles to pick up the car. After the $65 cab ride, I got to the Hertz counter to find they close at 2. I then had to travel another 10 miles to a different Hertz. The car was smaller than the SUV I expected and they could do nothing about it. Returning the car was also a total hassle.

Very good. Except for an annoying indicator that kept flashing on the instrument panel. I wasn't sure if it was a minor or major car issue. I searched for the owner's manual in the glove box to look up what it meant but it was not there. So that was a little frustrating having to drive the rental car for 4 days without knowing if I would encounter a problem on the road.

Filled up with gas prior to dropping off, tank full on drop off. However, was told I had to pay an extra $15.99 gas fee because I didn’t save my gas receipt. Very deceiving practice - tank clearly full.

Staff let me look at the car first before signing for it to ensure it was what I needed/wanted. Car turned out to be exactly what I needed for my family's vacation.

Cons:

Key FOB had issues; frequently go notice that remote was not detected, did not allow keyless entry and sometimes the keyless locking didn't work, had to be very close for the FOB lock/unlock to work (replacing battery had no effect).

The car was a wreck. I didn’t know Avis would rent such a car. The gas guage indicated full but when I filled it up before I returned it the guage showed way past where it was when I accepted it.
