The starff were outstanding and service was polite and excellent without being too formal or stuffy. The food in the Brasserie was excellent. The hotel and spa was so relaxing that we were nearly liquid by the end of our stay. It was also incredibly convenient for Gatwick airport. I would recommend it to anyone. Also, weather did not matter as the room included free day membership to the spa so we had plenty to do.
the lift was broken and there were a few other broken things around the hotel, they need to keep up with their maintenance
Lovely feeling and decor of hotel.
I was on crutches after a foot operation and the lift in my block was broken. It was not until the last night that I was suddenly offered a move to another block with a working lift, prompted after we eat in the restaurant. It is a shame the receptionist booking us in did not offer an alternative room in the other block in the first place. We were unaware there was an alternative block. It is the poor performance of this one member of staff that brings an excellent rating down to a good.
I used the spa facilities which were excellent
the level of service was fantastic
The Spa was wonderful.
The fine dining restaurant does not live up to the standard it gives the impression of.
