The car had a strong vibration throughout the drive tha.There was clearly a lack of cleaning.. there is a sticky substance around the gearshift. I use the supplied cleaning, wipe wipe to clean .

Pros:

Pickup and dropoff were a breeze

Cons:

Car was filthy, but I rented at the last minute so maybe there was no time to clean? Windows had paint pen on them, windshield had tape on it like it had just been replaced, interior hadn't been cleaned and there might have been mustard on the steering wheel!

Plenty of room in the car, easy pick up

Cons:

No after hours returns but no one told me when I picked it up. I had to clean the interior myself, lots of dust, food wrappers etc

Loved the 2024 Subaru Outback and a dream car to drive with 7k miles. Last rental with Alamo 2 weeks ago was a old Malibu with too many miles and should be retired. First experience with Dollar and a 10 star everyone was so nice!

This would have been a good experience apart from two things: 1) the repeated pestering texts and e-mails insisting that I check in online in advance, which I tried to do but the system didn't work; and 2) HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I waited for over half an hour to speak to someone in India who was hard to understand and then in the end said she couldn't do anything to change my pick-up time because I had booked through a third party service, and gave me a non-functional phone number to try to reach the airport desk. What a pity. The car was fine and the airport pick-up staff were fine. But I will never use Dollar again because that company wouldn't let those people just do their job.

I arrived at the airport, and the company was closed. I booked my rental three months ago; now I have to go to the open rental company and pay the going price. Air lines run 24 hours a day, and so should rental car companies at the airport.

Horrible experience. I picked car up to a car with no brakes , filthy and no charger installed. I asked to replace car and was told I’m the one who picked an economy car. Rude! Then replaced car had faulty engine and brakes problems but I kept it since it as a hassle for them to replace. Car was also filthy. When I returned the car they told me I had to go vacuum the car from sand that had no foot mat. Rep stated on the paperwork it was 3 mats and was a lie. Only 2 back mats came with car. Only reason I didn’t score it poor is because I survived this death trap!
