Pros:A 2-week stay proved consistently good service and facilities. Our group of 9 family members were able to easily catch the hotel shuttle bus that runs regularly and promptly (every 30 minutes throughout most of the day) to connect to Helsinki's superb rail system at the airport, only 5 minutes away. The very large breakfast buffet runs 4 - 10 am and is consistently well-stocked and a big hit for everybody. Significant numbers of professional visitors keep an upscale image, while many families also use the hotel. Two well-equipped play rooms for toddlers up to middle-school age children were also a big bonus for our family. The rooms are comfortable but not huge. The 2-twin bed room had a large built-in sitting couch and one desk chair, allowing all 9 of us to sit to make plans, with 2 people sitting on the bed. The bathroom was clean. Hardwood floors (European common) were well-maintained and daily cleaned. Plenty of power outlets are available. Room temperature and humidity were easily adjusted and relatively quiet. The overall noise level was extremely low, room-to-room, as well as from the hallway. While no dresser drawers are provided, the large wardrobe closet with two 2-feet wide hanger spaces and additional column of storage cubbies was sufficient for our multi-week stay. The check-in/out process was quick. A 10-minute walk to the very large Jumbo mall provided a wide array of food and shopping opportunities.
Cons:Our top floor room (7th) faced the Ring 3 highway which prevented use of the fresh air window due to traffic noise. However, the room was exceptionally quiet with the window closed. Ask for opposite side room, if available. The mini frig is labeled as a cooler only to +10C, however, it seemed adequate for most chilled drinks and even milk products. With such exceptional breakfast buffet service, it seemed odd to have long waits for afternoon/evening restaurant meal service. Few people used the restaurant. The hotel across the street had faster service and more reasonable menus for our taste. The Hemingway bar was comfortably equipped for small or large group gatherings, but speaker music was a bit loud for any intimate conversation.

Pros:Overall good airport hotel, decent breakfast, the airport shuttle is right on time.
Cons:I checked in a few hours early, additional fee is 10 Euro per hour. Wish I had known that ahead of the stay - I might have picked a hotel closer to city and taken cabs to airport instead.

Pros:Breakfast has a nice variety, and it's very close to the airport. Free bus from hotel to airport.
Cons:One of the bartenders was rude, but the other was extremely sweet so it almost canceled each other out.

Pros:Very nice property. Well maintained. Clean. Shuttle to airport is convenient. Breakfast was acceptable (more continental style with a lack of hot entrees). Staff is very congenial and helpful. Standard room is a nice size and comfortable. I liked the couch in the room instead of an uncomfortable chair / table combination.
Cons:Access to the hotel from the 615 bus stop on the road above is not safe or easy to walk down. A path should be built to provide easier access.
