The hotel is wonderful. We had three 'Superior Ocean View' rooms on the eighth floor which provided beautiful vistas of the harbour, historical fort, and ocean. Interesting to watch transport shipping vessels and tugboats--a bird's eye view, enjoyable.
Pool was cold . . .but very nice size and depth with comfortable seating. Music from the nearby shopping area added to ambience.
From the moment I stepped in , I realized that this was a ride that I will enjoy and was going to be unique in every way , from the Doorman thru the front desk , including all of the service personel , ( room , Restaurants Poolside etc . ) , the Decor is exquisite ; if there was a higher category than a 5 star ., I would rate this Emporio Hotel to an 8 Star rating .
the staff was the greatest, very, very helpful. will surely return. thanks especially to X at the front desk and trinidad in the restaurant.
We spent 3 nights at this beautiful hotel, right on the port of Veracruz. We tried out all 3 pools and 2 restaurants and the bar, all were excellent. We loved being away from the more touristy Boca del Rio, closer to the real action in the historic center and watching the ships from our balcony was endlessly fascinating. We highly recommend this hotel.
