Villa Campestri is a splendid renaissance house in a particularly beautiful position. The fine hotel has been carefully restored using authentic materials and maintaining the building's original appearance. Its fascinating atmosphere echoes the history of the surrounding area which was the home of Giotto, Beato Angelico and the Medici family. Villa Campestri guest rooms are characterized by harmonious attention to detail. The villa has kept its ancient charm and history as a result of careful restoration and decoration using vintage and antique furniture. Nineteenth-century light fittings, paintings and prints create an atmosphere which is both welcoming and elegant. The original layout of the villa has been preserved and the bedrooms are located where they were in the renaissance period: some in the villa itself, and others in the adjoining farmhouse and the old dairy house opposite. They offer wonderful views of the surrounding parkland. In the ancient cellars of the villa the first 'Oleoteca' in Italy has been created, where we organize extra-virgin oil tasting courses with tours of the oil press for those interested in learning about the oil production process.Villa Campestri is set in a private park of 120 hectares in which guests can walk following signposted footpaths, or discover the particularities of the area surrounding Villa Campestri with the help of a botanical guide.
