Room was relatively clean.
A single piece of French Toast, a slice of mango, and orange juice from a carton is not what you typically expect from even the most basic B&B.This is a decent place to spend a single night if you really want to stay in Volcano. I recommend hitting the park for a few hours during the morning and then staying in Hilo.
Great location to stay to view the volcano during the day or at night. The innkeeper, Dan was helpful as well. Breakfast was delicious - banana pancakes & fresh island fruits. Yumm!
Location and the room.
Not well signed, hard to find in the dark.Very nice place. The room was great, the bed was better, actually, far and away better than we had on our 10 day vacation to four different places. Loved the tucked away in the forest feel and the closeness to the volcano NP. Made it very easy to drive back from the park after volcano watching at night. Host was very attentive and happy to have us. I would stay again.
