Excellent comfortable stay. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast. Multiple restaurants close to hotel.
We recently stayed at the Waynesboro Best Western for 7 nights. During that time, the staff was always welcoming and the hotel was very clean. The only negative comment I can make is that the breakfast left something to be desired. Finally, after we had been there for 5 nights they changed one menu item - substituting bacon for sausage on the buffet. I realize most travellers probably don't stay for 7 nights but for those few who do have an extended stay it would really be nice to have a little more variety. I was also surprised that what I thought was a 'no-brainer' was missing from the selections available - no donuts! In fact, we ended up eating breakfast elsewhere on two mornings just because we couldn't face another boring morning meal! I overheard one staff member tell another guest that they had no control over what their 'home office' sent to be served so perhaps my comments would be better directed to BW's 'home office'. Other than the boring breakfast the BW in Waynesboro is great!
nice hotel and good value for the money. Not much else to say.
Hotel is in a great location. The staff was pleasant and helpful. It was difficult to see in the bathroom as there were no lights above the bathroom mirror. The hand held shower bracket was broken and you either had to hold the shower spray or wrap the line around the shower post. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was good and there was a good variety.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this Best Western Hotel in Waynesboro. The staff was friendly and helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. We did not have any problems while there and we do plan on returning. The complimentary breakfast was good and they offered a lot of choices.
From check in to departure, everything went smoothly. All descriptions were accurate, and the hotel was a quiet, family oriented facility when we arrived during the winter holidays. The staff was courteous, and the rooms were clean.
refrigerator was dirty, the bed linen smelled bad.. Also the bathtub was never cleaned from the last guests. The manager never apologized, just told me he couldn't do anything about it. The breakfast might have been decent, but we got there at 9;00 and they had not replensihed most of the food items.
This hotel is fine, nothing special. The pillows are not confortable but, the rooms are large and have efficency fridge and microwave which are great for families will small children, like ours (ages 4 and 6)! Having breakfast included is key for our family. It allows me and the kids to go down while my husband sleeps in. We did not make it to the pool but, others told us it was nice.
Recently stayed here while on vacation. Rooms were nice and clean. Desk clerk was helpful on directions. Could walk to Cracker Barrel.
What a nice clean place to stay. We stayed two nights, once the first day our trip and the last day. The hotel is new, built in 2007 according to staff. The beds were very comfortable with pillow top covers. The pillows, 3 per bed were a little on the small side. The rooms have a microwave, refridge and coffeemaker. The pool was very clean, but a little on the cold side. They had a GREAT breakfast with a good selection of food . Only minor items noticed during our stay, they had a very LOUD ice machine I would not recommend staying in the room next door. and the stairwell needed to be cleaned, which it was by our next visit and the desk clerk was not too friendly the first night. The second night the clerk was more than friendly. All in all we would recommend and stay at tihis hotel again when in Virginia..
As a business traveler I stay in a lot of hotels. This particular property, while clean, was less than I expected for the money. At $***/night, the highest rate within 5 miles, I didn't feel like I got the amenities I've come to expect with such a high rate.
Our professional organization recently held a conference here in which 200 people were in attendance. Due to the large attendance not all were able to obtain rooms for overnight stay at this hotel but some had to stay at other nearby hotels. Everything was absolutely outstanding. Wonderful ammienities, everything clean and new, and the cookies in the lobby are a nice added touch! The reviews from the conference regarding both the lodging and the conference are were excellent!!! The staff was incredible and wiling to help in anyway possible. If anyone is looking for a place to hold a great conference, I would highly recommend you check this one out! ... and if you are just in the area and need a great place for an overnight stay...I am sure you will not be disappointed!
We were very pleased with the facilities and service. Everyone at hotel was very nice and extremely responsive to questions. Would highly recommend Best Western to others!
