Location and views of the mountains. Easy to fine and a good price with decent amenities.Hotel is older than others I have used, but it is in very good space. We only had one problem that what taken care of quickly and to our complete satisfaction. We didn't use the pool it was closed for the season. The bathroom was a bit small. The electronics were modern with high speed internet. Our room had two queen beds, a small refrigerator, and a microwave oven. All were in working order and clean. We were on the second floor. I did not see an elevator. Parking was no problem. We enjoyed our stay.
It was easy to get to, clean, and the room was extra clean, smelled good, and the lady at the desk was frendly, would love to come back there again.
quiet - easy to find location and easy access to highways
Our room was on the ground floor and we were unable to enjoy the view due to privacy issues. Bathroom was WAY TOO SMALL. It may have been a closet at one time. The hairdryer, clothing and towel racks were either too close to or hung over the sink. The room and grounds were very clean. The hotel is located quite close to the highway making it both convenient for traveling and a concern for nighttime traffic. The rooms closest to the office had the least amount of traffic noise. The early morning mountain views were beautiful. however we were unable to enjoy them from the ground floor room because of privacy. The staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel is about 1/2 mile from town and a small shopping mall. It is a short driving distance to Cherokee Casino, Sylva, the Parkway, and Asheville. The beds weren't the most comfortable and the bathroom could only fit one person unless som...
Cleanliness, friendly staff and beautiful view.
Complimentary breakfast was a bit limited.Great view and location was easy. Really nice staff.
THe priceline price was $10 more than the rate on the hotel. Not sure why we paid more and that is a concern for priceline use.
The room was very clean. The entire facility was in excellent shape. The landscaping was really great. More than one usually expects. The staff, office, breakfast area, housecleaning was very friendly.
There was plenty to eat for breakfast but I think they should offer more items. Eating area was small. Some people were eating in the lobby.Overall, it is an excellent place to stay. It is convenient to downtown, shopping, major highways, and has a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains! I have stayed in a lot of places and this was one of the best. The room rate was very reasonable. I plan to go back in fall and hope they have available room.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Grounds were very neat and the flower beds were such an added bonus.
Dining room was a bit too small. We could not have been more pleased with our experience. We were attending a church conference and getting to and from the conference was very convenient. We will definitely stay here next year. Small, quaint and relaxing environment! Great place to call 'home' at the end of a busy day!
The hotel was far superior than the 2 1/2 star rating. Very clean room, the grounds were well-kept and the curb appeal of the motel was up-to-date (no peeling paint, potholes, broken sidewalks, doors etc.)
They didn't give me a receipt and was told that Price-line would provide one. I've not received a receipt.I would recommend this hotel to another person. I do wish there were more dining options in the area. I would also stay in the hotel again.
Beautiful view of the mountains.
Breakfast area is vey small.Motel is about a 10 minute drive to downtown Waynesville.
Front desk attendant seemed busy (on the phone) when we checked in, but everyone at the hotel was friendly and very attentive to our stay.
