Quiet, clean, ok breakfast, clean pool, spacious rooms
This hotel was fine for what I needed which was a good night's sleep, a shower and some breakfast. My room was clean and was quiet. The wireless internet worked fine, not super fast but decent. Nothing fancy for breakfast but had a variety of options that were edible. I would stay here again since I do not require any special amenities and it is a good value. One caution - while checking out, the person in front of me was doing some heavy complaining about very poor housekeeping services. Since I only stayed one night I did not require housekeeping but if you are staying longer it may be something to consider.
The rooms were excellent, the receptionist was arrogant. apart fromt that, its decent.
The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pillows were kinda of small. The shower curtain was torn and patched with duck tape. For the price I was satisfied with the rooms.
Have stayed here before when in Houson, and will stay again, is good accomodations for the price.
My 6 year old granddaughter and I stayed for a mini vacation in the Webster/Kemah area. The staff was very friendly and quite informative about the local attractions that were nearby that weren't advertised. We had some nice surprises with that information! The room was clean, the price was right.
This location was recently built and the rooms seem almost like several hundred dollar per night quality, and some look like suites for a great price. The hotel staff was great at answering questions and giving advice about the local area. I attended for a conference and it was very close to the Johnson Space Center (no more than a few miles). I will stay again at this hotel given the chance when traveling to this area.
Friendly and helpful staff during stay of trip. Room looked a little outdated and doesn't match the outside of the hotel. Outside of hotel looks like a updated hotel but rooms looks old. Couldn't figure out if there was an elevator in the hotel but didn't think so. Stay for price didn't upset me but didn't wow me either. Bed sheets had a small stain on it. Probably wouldn't return unless it was my last option.
If you arent going to be living in the room then this is a great value for the price. Not far away from everything!
You can stay here and get everything you need without having to burn a whole in your wallet. I had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer. I have stayed at many hotels but this was the first time I had a ceiling fan in my room. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The guy at desk was very knowledgeable about the area. He provided me a few suggestions on dining options and things to do in the area. Will stay here again the next time I'm in the area.
Had everything you need for economical stay. Indoor pool, clean, great location. only wish pool would open earlier than 10AM and then checkout time 11AM. Be sure to try Lupes Mexican Restaurant nearby and Ziti's Italian Rest on Hwy 518, excellent with good prices too.
The housekeeping was horrible. Very dusty, and coffee left in the coffeemaker. They used the same wet bath mat, did not give us a new one. I asked the front dest for towels, they were out. So I asked housekeeping and they said my room wasn't thier room, so they couldn't give me any towels. The entire top floor had a wierd odor??? There was a beat up trailer parked in the lot, it was just wierd????
This motel is a good place to stay if you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay. The rooms open up to the exterior in the manor of older hotels. The room was very big and had a jetted tub! Not much in the way of toiletries and the towels are thin. The in-room coffee maker was a big one, and the coffee provided was for a small 4 cup pot. Therefore, you couldnt make a pot of coffee. In any case, they left only one creamer. So, if you can live without the 'nice things' you have come to expect in a room, and just need a clean room, this is the place for you. I didn't eat their breakfast, so I can't comment on that.
This hotel was very reasonably priced. The room was clean and it had everything you would want including a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet since the hotel is not on the freeway. I slept well. Also, the front desk was great. They were very helpful and even gave us some maps for the area.
Light switch for bathroom was connected with commode - both were on or neither. In our booking notes it stated we were getting a sofa bed for 2 adults. The pull out sofa was a TWIN. The hotel was very noisy - a lot of traffic, people going in and out, doors slamming - impossible to sleep through. But our room was pretty clean, our bed was comfortable, the pillows were firm and it was very close to the Space Center. But I would not recommend this hotel for light sleepers. Front desk was friendly but slow to respond.
The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast provided was fresh. The only problem we found was the doors were not secured to the public and in the middle of the night we had someone running up and down the hall pounding on doors
Excellent motel. Did not use their pool, but it appeared clean. Enjoyed their basic continental breakfast. Free USA Today newspaper. Friendly staff. Good security lights in parking areas. Only blocks from the space center. Definitely would stay there again.
We read the reviews and liked the location and price so I booked. We got there at 1 am and had to check in through a little window that had a microphone and a slot, you could not access the lobby. That should have tipped me off. The person at the desk was nice and quick and had everything ready for us and then we had to get to the room. You can only access the second floor from the back of the building through a questionable staircase and an unsecure door. You walk down the hall and can hear everything that is going on in everyroom you pass because the doors and walls are paper thin. We got to the room and the mircowave was key locked to the bar and was filthy and the fridge and AC had not been turned on. Not pleasent in Houston in August. The walls were poorly patched up and dirty the bedding wasn't terrible but it wasn't the cleanest and the floor was 'don't take you shoes off 'gross. I am not sure if they only renovated just the outside but we only stayed from 1:30 to 8 and that was all she wrote. I would not stay here again after hearing police sirens all evening and with no security.
Though the staff was very friendly, and the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was big disappointment. There was mold around the entire tub area and the tub was very dirty.Have to go get your own extra towels too if you have more than 2 people in the room.
As for the location it was great. As for the hotel it was adequate considering the price we paid and the fact we were on the go most of the time. The phone did not work for 2 of the 3 days we were there and the vanity light was out 2 days. The kids swam in the indoor pool on our last day. My daughter developed blister on a few areas of her body. The breakfast was sub par. For the right price we would stay there again because of the location, not because it was a great place to stay.
