The Days Inn Willcox is located in Southern Arizona off Interstate Highway 10 at exit 340. We offer a free hot breakfast which consists of eggs, sausage and waffles, free continental breakfast together with coffee, tea and juice, free high speed internet, in room coffee maker and free local phone calls. We feature rooms with Queen and King size beds with refrigerators and microwaves. There are several restaurants and shopping within walking distance to our hotel. While visiting Willcox enjoy the local attractions such as, Rex Allen Cowboy Museum, Cochise Visitors Center, Chiricahua National Monument, and Kartchner Caverns. My overall impression is of a motel that has seen better days. While I saw a few updates such as new toilet and vanity top, the general appearance was shabby. The mattress has caved in the middle. There were gnats swarming around the bathroom light fixture. I found a dead beetle and dead cricket which may be indications that some extermination service may have taken place. The hair dryer was old, dirty, and did not work. One morning I left my room returning at noon to find my door wide open but no maid in sight, so my belongings were open to one and all to take. I've stayed at other Days Inns but never one as sorry looking as this.
Pros:The pool was nice and refreshing. The front desk was helpful and friendly.
Cons:The breakfast was cold, watered down and spongy and didn't bother trying the coffee. the rooms were barely mediocre at best, lots of debts and chips in paint. It smelled a bit like stale cigarettes so I had to run my essential oil humidifier to cover it up.
Pros:Friendly staff. Nice and clean facility.
Cons:Pool location.
